Recently one of the people on the Trolley List asked about pictures of the Fairmount Park Transit Co. This line ran inside Fairmount Park in Philadelphia from 1897 until 1946. The original equipment was built by Brill and ran until the end when the cars and the track were scrapped. The carbarn was used for some time as a maintenance building for the park. Here is a selection of pictures of what must have been a great ride.
