4-4-0s
Some earlier 4-4-0s were acquired with other railroads. 79 was one of them.
There were only a few roads which ran American Standard 4-4-0 locomotives into the late 1940s, and the Frisco was one of them. Here is a selection of photos of a few of these old, but very modern, locomotives.
183 and 186 were built by Pittsburg in 1899. They were rebuilt in 1928.
