Electro-Motive SD45 Diesels

 

902 was built in February 1967, #32625. It was retired on October 10, 1989, and sold to VMV Enterprises.

903 was built in February 1967, #32626. Disposition is unknown.

907 was built in February 1967, #32630. It was retired on September 25, 1987, and sold to VMV Enterprises in October 1989..

909 was built in February 1967, #32632. It was retired on September 25, 1987, and sold to VMV Enterprises in October 1989.

911 was built in March 1967, #32634. It was retired on October 10, 1989, and sold to VMV Enterprises.

914 was built in March 1967, #32637. It was retired on September 25, 1987, and sold to VMV Enterprises in October 1989. . It was later sold to Morrison-Knudsen as 914 and then rebuilt by MK on May 13, 1994 as Southern Pacific 8575. It was assigned UP 4601 in September 1997 and became Union Pacific 2651 on January 17, 2002.

920 was built in March 1967, #32643. It was retired on September 25, 1987, and sold to VMV Enterprises in October 1989.

937 was built in January 1969, #34570. It was retired on November 19, 1987, and in October 1989 it was sold to VMV Enterprises as 937. It was later rebuilt as Kansas City Southern 611 to SD40-2 standards.

938 was built in January 1969, #34571. It was retired on November 19, 1987, and sold to VMV Enterprises in October 1989.

939 was build in January 1969, #34572, It was retired on November 19, 1987, and sold to VMV in October 1989. It was rebuild as KCS 632.

943 was built in January 1969, #34578. It was retired on September 25, 1987, and in October 1989 it was sold to VMV as 943. It was later rebuilt as KCS 613.

944 was built in January 1969, #34577. It was retired on November 26, 1990, and sold to National Ry Equpment Co in June 1994.

947 was built in January 1969, #34580. It was retired on May 21, 1985, and traded in to Electro-Motive in August 1986. It was scrapped at St. Louis Auto Shredding.

948 was built in January 1969, #34581. It was retired in 1994 and sold to National Ry Equipment Co in June 1994.

949 was built in January 1969, #34582. It was retired on September 25, 1987, and sold to VMV Enterprises in October 1989.

950 was built in January 1959, #34583. 

951 was built in January 1969, #34584. It was retired on September 25, 1987, and sold to VMV in October 1989. It was later sold to MK as 951 and then rebuilt by MK as SP 8582. It was assigned UP 4618 but was retired.

952 was built in January 1969, #34585. It was retired on September 25, 1987, and sold to VMV Enterprises in October 1989.

954 was built in January 1969, #34587. Disposition is unknown.

955 was built in January 1969, #34588. It was retired on September 25, 1987, and sold to VMV Enterprises in October 1989.

958 was built in February 1969, #34591. It was retired on October 10, 1989, and sold to VMV Enterprises in October 1989.

962 was built in February 1969, #34595. It was retired on May 21, 1985, and traded in to Electro-Motive in August 1986. It was scrapped by St Louis Auto Shredding.

965 was built in February 1969, #34599. It was retired on October 10, 1989, and sold to VMV Enterprises.

966 was built in February 1969, #34600.  It was retired on November 19, 1987, and sold to VMV Enterprises in October 1989.  It was rebuilt at Boise on November 16, 1994, as SP 8705 and assigned as UP 4731 in December 1999.  It became UP 2781 on November 17, 2000.

971 was built in February 1969, #34604. It was retired on November 19, 1987, and sold to VMV Enterprises in October 1989.

972 was built in February 1969, #34605. It was retired on April 5, 1989, and sold to VMV in October 1989. It was rebuilt as KCS 630.

973 was built in February 1969, #34606. It was retired on October 10, 1989, and sold to VMV Enterprises.

976 was built in February 1969, #34609. It was retired on September 25, 1987, and sold to VMV Enterprises in October 1989.

6482 was built by Electro-Motive in July 1970, #36361, as Burlington Northern 6482, Class SD-45. It was retired and then leased to C&NW 6482 in September 1986. It was later retired and sold to Helm Leasing Co as 6505.

(6509) was built in December 1967, #33815, as Pennsylvania RR 6181, Class EF-36. It became Penn Central 6181, Class EF-36, in 1988 and Consolidated Railroad Corp 6181, Class SD-45, and was sold to C&NW as 6181 in February 1983. It was assigned 6509, but was retired on October 10, 1989, before renumbering. It was sold to VMV in October 1989 and rebuilt later as KCS 618.

6512 was built in December 1967, #33819. as PRR 6185, Class EF-36. It became PC 6185, Class EF-36, in 1968 and Conrail 6185, Class SD-45, in April 1976. It was sold to C&NW as 6512 on December 1983. It was retired on April 5, 1988,, and was sold to National Railway Equipment in February 1990.

(6521) was built in January 1968, #33828, as PRR 6194, Class EF-36.  It became PC 6194, Class EF-36, in 1968 and became Conrail 6194, Class SD-45, in April 1976.  It was sold to C&NW as 6521 in February 1983.  It apparently was not renumbered and sold to VMV Enterprises on October 1989.  It was resold to Morrison Knudsen and rebuilt as Motive Power Iinternational 9028 in 1990.  It was transferred as Morrison Knudsen Corp 9028 and back as MPI 9028 and as Helm 9028 in May 1996.

6535 was built in January 1968, #33836, as PRR 6212, Class EF-36,  It became PC 6212, Class EF-36, in 1968 and became Conrail 6212, Class SD-45, in April 1976.  It was returned to the leasor and became C&NW 6535 in March 31, 1983, It was retired in 1994 and sold to National Railway Equipment as June 1994.

6542 was built in January 1968, #33848, as 6219, Class EF-36. It became PC 6219, Class EF-36, in 1968 and then Conrailas 6218, Class SD-45. It was sold to C&NW as 6542 on March 21, 1983, and sold to National Railway Equipment in 1994. It was later sold as Montana Rail Link 368. It was transferred to I&M Rail Link and later returned to MRL.

6554 was built in January 1968, #33855, as PC 6231, Class EF-36. It became Conrail 6231, Class SD-45, in April 1976 and was later returned to the leasor. It became C&NW 6554 on October 13, 1983, and was traded in to Electro-Motive on August 27, 1986. It was scrapped at St. Louis Auto Shredding Co.

6576 was built in January 1969, #34551, as Chicago Burlington & Quincy 516. It became Burlington Northern 6457, Class SD-45, in 1970 and was returned to the leasor in February 1984. They sold it to C&NW and it became 6576 on August 12, 1984. It was sold to National Ry Equipment Co as 6576 in June 1994 and was later rebuilt as Southern Pacific 8612.

6579 was built in January 1969, #34554, as CB&Q 519. It became BN 6460, Class SD-45, in 1970 and was returned to the leasor in February 1984. It was sold to C&NW and became 6579 on February 28, 1984. It was retired on November 19, 1987, amd sold to VMV in October 1989. It was then sold to Morrison-Knudsen as 9508 and then to Helm Leasing as 7001. It was again sold to Wisconsin Central Ltd as 6630. It was finally sold to Larry's Truck Equipment Co.

6582 was built in January 1969, #34558, as CB&Q 522. In 1970 it became BN 6463, Class SD-45, and was returned to the leasor in February 1984. It was sold to C&NW and became 6582 on September 17, 1984. It was sold to NRE in June 1994 as 6582 and then was rebuilt by MK on October 12, 1994, as SP 8668, as SP40M-2.  It then was assigned as UP 4694 and became UP 2744 on June 12, 2003.

6587 was built in July 1968, #33785, as Great Northern  418, Class SD-45.  It became BN 6448, Class SD-45, in 1970 and retired in August 1983.  It was sold as C&NW 6587 in January 1984 and was later retired.

(6610) was built in December 1967, #33816, as PRR 6182, Class EF-36, SD45.  It became PC 6182, Class EF-36, in 1968 and became Conrail 6182, Class SD-45, in April 1976.  It was sold to C&NW planned as 6610 in February 1983.  It apparently was not renumbered and sold to VMV Enterprises on October 1989.  It was resold to MK and rebuilt as MPI 9027 in 1990.  It was transferred as MK 9027 and back as MPI 9027 and as Helm 9027 in May 1996.
