Roanoke Street Ry,

One little known trolley line was the system in Roanoke, VA. It was abandoned about 1948, but the cars always seemed to look sharp right up to the end.

The first group were turtle roof cars with maximum traction trucks.

43 was built by Brill Car Co in February 1926, #22364.

47 was built by Brill Car Co in February 1926, #22364.

49 was built by Brill Car Co in July 1929, #22804, for Lychburg Traction & Light Co.  An unknown car was sold as R&RE 49 in 1939.

50 was built by Brill Car Co in July 1929, #22804 for LT&L.  An unknown car was sold as R&RE 50 in 1939.

51 was built by Brill Car Co in July 1929, #22904 for LT&L.  An unknown car was sold as R&RE 51 in 1939.

52 was built by Brill Car Co in July 1929, #22904 for LT&L.  An unknown car was sold as R&RE 52 in 1939.

53 was built by Brill Car Co in July 1929, #22804, as LT&L 113. It was sold as R&RE 53 in 1939.

56 was built by Brill Car Co in July 1929, #22804, as LT&L 110. It was sold as R&RE 56 in 1939.
