Nishi Nippon Tetsudo

This company operated tram lines Fukuoku, Hakata, and Kokuru. Kokuru is still served by trams. They also operated interurban service between these cities in the southern part of Japan.

Fukuoku-Hakata

The cars in this system were painted blue and white.

9, 10, 15, and 40 were apparently from the original equipment.

109 was a well proportioned older double truck car.

124 and 130 were similar.

516, 517, and 518 were modern steel cars.

553, 577, 587, and 601 had a newer style truck.

Kokuru

The cars in this system were painted dark red and had their own numbering system.

17 was one of the older double truck cars.

83 was a more modern steel car.

131 and 132 seem to have been used in interurban service.

310 was a narrow single truck car.

313, 315, and 317 were larger single truck cars.

512 was a Peter Witt car.

615 was the newest cars in 1954.
