Tennessee Southern RR

This railroad operates two former Louisville & Nashville branch lines out of Columbia.

201, CF7, was built by Electro-Motive in December 1949, #8929, as Atchison Topeka & Santa Fe 221C, Class 200, an F7A. It was retired in December 1, 1972, and was rebuilt at Cleburne as 2579, Class 2417, in December 1973. It was sold to Indiana Rail Road as 201 and later became TSRR as 201.

523, GP30, was built by Electro-Motive in July 1962, #27356, as Norfolk & Western 523. It was sold in February 1992 as Pielet Brothers in February 1992 and later sold to TSRR as 523.

1726, GP9, was built by Electro-Motive in February 1957, #22771, as Northern Pacific 288. It became Burlington Northern 1726, Class GP-9, in 1970 and was retired in March 1991. It was sold to Pielet Brothers in May 1991 and later sold to TSRR as 1726.

2329, S-4M, was built by Alco in December 1951, #79496, as Louisville & Nashville as 2229, Class S-10. It was rebuilt in 1965 as 2329 and later sold to TSRR as 2329.

2593, GP30, was built by Electro-Motive in October 1963, #28563, as Southern Ry 2593. It retained the same number when sold to TSRR.

6173, GP9, was built by Electro-Motive in December 1956, #22556, as Chesapeake & Ohio 6173, Class MRSE-17. It was reclassified Class GP-9 in 1964 and was later sold to TSRR where it retained the same number.
