Electro-Motive SD45 Diesels

 

6159, Class EF-36, was built in January 1967, #32384, as Pennsylvania RR 6159, Class EF-36. It became PC 6159, Class EF-36, in 1968 and Consolidated Railroad Corp 6159, Class SD-45, in April 1976. It was retired.

6181, Class EF-36, was built in December 1967, #33815, as PRR, Class EF-36. It became PC 6181, Class EF-36, in 1968 and Conrail 6181, Class SD-45, in April 1976. It was sold to Chicago & North Western as 6181 in February 1983. It was assigned 6509, but was retired on October 10, 1989, before renumbering. It was sold to VMV in October 1989 and rebuilt later as Kansas City Southern 618.

6185, Class EF-36, was built in December 1967, #33819, as PRR 6185, Class EF-68. It became PC 6185, Class EF-36, in 1968 and Conrail 6185, Class SD-45, in April 1976. It was sold to C&NW as 6512 on December 1983. It was retired on April 5, 1988,, and was sold to National Railway Equipment in February 1990.

6212, Class EF-36, was built in January 1968, #33836, as PRR 6212, Class EF-36. It became PC 6212, Class EF-36. It became Conrail 6212, Class SD-45, in April 1976 and was returned to the leasor. It became C&NW 6535 in March 31, 1983, It was retired in 1994 and sold to National Railway Equipment as June 1994.

6219, Class EF-36, was built in January 1968, #33848, as PRR 6219, Class EF-36. It became PC 6219, Class EF-36, in 1968 and then Conrail as 6218, Class SD-45, in April 1976. It was sold to C&NW as 6542 on March 21, 1983, and sold to National Railway Equipment in 1994. It was later sold as MRL 368. It was transferred to I&MRL and later returned to MRL.

6231, Class EF-36, was built in January 1968, #33855, as PRR 6231, Class EF-36. It became PC 6231, Class EF-36, in 1968 and became Conrail 6231, Class SD-45, in April 1976 but was not repainted for over a year. It was later returned to the leasor and sold to C&NW where it became 6554 on October 13, 1983. It was traded in to Electro-Motive on August 27, 1986, and scrapped at St. Louis Auto Shredding Co.
