4070, Class S-3-a, was built by Alco-Schenectady in December 1918, #60319, as Grand Trunk 474. It became Grand Trunk Western 3734, Class S-3-a, in July 1924 and was renumbered 4070 in March 1958. It is was purchased in June 1961 by National Museum of Steam Propulsion and resold to Lou Keller in April 1964. It was acquired by Midwest Railway Historical Foundation in December 1965 and lettered as CVLRy 4070.
21, 44 Ton, was built by General Electric in February 1953, #31881, as United States Air Force 1243. This was actually the number higher than Baltimore & Ohio 20 and operates at the CVS.
2014, SW8, was built by Electro-Motive in May 1951, #15009, as U S Army 2014, Class D-SD-9. After service in Korea it was used at the Ravenna Arsenal until acquired by the CVSR in 1996.
2572, GP30, was built by Electro-Motive in October 1962, #27743, as Southern Ry 2572. It was retired in December 1990 and sold to Transdynamic Inc in November 1991. It was leased as CVLR 2572 and sold as Central RR of Indianapolis 2572. It was later transferred as Central RR of Indiana 2572.
4056, RS3, was built by Alco in January 1952, #79594, as Spokane Portland & Seattle 71. It became Burlington Northern 4056, Class A-RS-3, in 1970 and sold to Chrome Crankshaft Co in August 1980. It was sold as Ontario Midland RR 4056 in September 1980 and sold as CVLR 4056 in 1988.
4099, RS3, was built by Alco in September 1952, #80299, as Delaware & Hudson 4099, Class DERS-60. It was reclassified as Class RS-15 in 1959 and later was sold to the CVL. It was changed as CVS in 1994.
6767, FPA4, was built by Montreal in 1958, #83145, as Canadian National 6767, Class MPA-18b. It later was Via Rail Canada 6767, Class MPA-18b. It was sold in 2001 as CVS 6767.
6771, FPA4, was built by Montreal in 1958, #83149, as CN 6771, Class MPA-18b. It later was Via Rail as 6771, Class MPA-18b. It was sold in 1993 to CVS and renumbered as 15. It was renumbered back to 6771
6777, FPA4, was built by Montreal in 1958, #83155, as CN 6777. Class MPA-18b. It later was Via Rail as 6777, Class MPA-18b. It was sold in 1994 to CVS and renumbered as 14. It was renumbered back to 6777.
M3, RDC1, was built by Budd in October 1950, #5107, as New York Susquehanna & Western M3. It was sold as Central RR of New Jersey 560 in April 1958 and became New Jersey Transit 560 in 1976. It was sold as Corydon Scenic RR 560 and resold as CVS M3 when Corydon service ended in 2003.
