Electro-Motive GP30 Diesels
6906, Class FSE-5, was built in October 1962, #27623. It was reclassified Class GP-30 in 1964, It was renumbered 4109 and then became CSX Transportation 4109, Class GP-30. It was retired August 23, 1989. It was rebuilt by Morrison Knudsen on October 29, 1990, as 2289, as slug S5-1BDE.
6913, Class FSE-5, was built in October 1962, #27630. It was reclassified Class GP-30 in 1964. It was renumbered 4115 and then CSX 4115, Class GP-30. It was retired on February 14, 1989, and rebuilt by Precision National as slug 2246 on June 21, 1989,
6916, Class FSE-5 was built in October 1962, #27633. It was reclassified Class GP-30 in 1964 and later rebuilt as Class GP-30M in December 1982. It was renumbered 4237 and then became CSX 4237, Class GP-30M. It was retired on January 22, 1996, and sold for scrap to Pielet Brothers on April 4, 1996.
6918, Class FSE-5, was built in October 1962, #27635. It was reclassified Class GP-30 in 1964 and later rebuilt as Class GP-30M in October 1982. It was renumbered 4239 and then became CSX 4239, Class GP-40M. It was retired on August 29, 1995, and sold to Ohio Central RR on December 7, 1995, It became Columbus & Ohio River RR 4239 in February 1996 and then Arizona & California as 3005 in May 1996. It was transferred in September 1997 as Puget Sound & Pacific 3005.
6923, Class FSE-5, was built in October 1962, #27640. It was reclassified Class GP-30 in 1964 and later rebuilt as Class GP-30M in 1984, It was renumbered 4241 and then became CSX 4241, Class GP-30M. It was retired on March 2, 1995, and sold to Coastline Rail Services on July 3, 1995. It was then sold in 1998 as Motive Power Inc.
6925, Class FSE-5, was built in October 1962, #27642. It was reclassified Class GP-30 in 1964 and later rebuilt as Class GP-30M in July 1983. It was renumbered 4243 and then became CSX 4243, Class GP-30M. It was retired on May 5, 1995, and sold to Progress Rail Services on September 1, 1995.
6926, Class FSE-5, was built in November 1962, #27643. It was reclassified Class GP-30 in 1964. It was renumbered 4119 and then became CSX 4119, Class GP-30. It was rebuilt by Morrison-Knudsen on September 1990 as 2280, a slug.
6928, Class FSE-5, was built in November 1962, #27645. It was reclassified Class GP-30 in 1964 and later rebuilt at Cumberland in August 1981 as Class GP-30M. It was renumbered 4244 and then became CSX 4244, Class GP-30M. It was retired on December 30, 1994, and sold to Pielet Bros for scrap in March 22, 1995.
6931, Class FSE-5, was built in November 1962, #27648. It was reclassified Class GP-30 in 1964 and rebuilt in November 1982 as Class GP-30M. It was renumbered 4246 and then became CSX 4246, Class GP-30M. It was retired on December 18, 1996, and sold to Midwest Metallics on February 24, 1997. It later was sold to Alabama & Gulf Coast as 2183 in 1997.
6933, Class FSE-5, was built in November 1962, #27650. It was reclassified Class GP-30 in 1964 and rebuilt on April 9, 1982, as Class GP-30M. It was renumbered 4248 and then became CSX 4248, Class GP-30M. It was retired on December 26, 1995, and sold to Alabama & Gulf Coast as 2178 on March 6, 1996.
6941, Class FSE-5, was built in November 1962, #27658. It was reclassified Class GP-30 in 1964 and rebuilt in October 1981 as Class GP-30M. It was renumbered 4252 and then became CSX 4252, Class GP-30M. It was retired on March 2, 1995, and sold to Progress Rail Services on July 5, 1995.
6944, Class FSE-5, was built in November 1962, #27661. It was reclassified Class GP-30 in 1964 and later rebuilt in 1983 as Class GP-30M. It was renumbered 4253 and then became CSX 4253, Class GP-30M. It was retired on February 1, 1996, and restored B&O 6944 at Baltimore in June 1996.
6950, Class FSE-5, was built in November 1962, #27667. It was reclassified Class GP-30 in 1964 and later rebuilt on July 22, 1981, as Class GP-30M. It was renumbered 4255 and then became CSX 4255, Class GP-30M. It was retired on March 2, 1995, and sold to Progress Rail Services on July 5, 1995.
6951, Class FSE-5, was built in December 1962, #27668. It was reclassified Class GP-30 in 1964 and later rebuilt in 1984 as Class GP-30M. It was renumbered 4256 and then became CSX 4256, Class GP-30M. It was retired on June 13, 1995 and sold to Progress Rail Services on September 1, 1995.
6953, Class FSE-5, was built in December 1962, #27670. It was reclassified Class GP-30 in 1964 and later rebuilt in 1983 as Class GP-30M. It was renumbered 4258 and then became CSX 4258, Class GP-30M. It was retired on November 30, 1995, and sold to Pielet Bros for scrap on March 1, 1996.
6954, Class FSE-5, was built in December 1962, #27671. It was reclassified Class GP-30 in 1964 and later rebuilt in 1983 as Class GP-30M. It was renumbered 4259 and then became CSX 4259, Class GP-30M. It was retired November 30, 1995, and sold to Pielet Bros on March 1, 1996. It was sold to South Kansas & Oklahoma as 4259 in 1999 and transfered to Kansas & Oklahoma RR as 4259 in May 2001.
6957, Class FSE-5, was built in December 1962, #27674. It was reclassified Class GP-30 in 1964 and later rebuilt at Cumberland in February 1983, as Class GP-30M. It was renumbered 4262 and then became CSX 4262, Class GP-30M. It was retired on October 21, 1996, and sold to Midwest Metallics on December 30, 1996. It was then sold to Alabama & Gulf Coast as 2184 in 1997.
6973, Class FSE-5, was built in January 1963, #27690. It was reclassified Class GP-30 in 1964 and later rebuilt at Cumberland in September 1982 as Class GP-30M. It was renumbered 4265 and then became CSX 4265, Class GP-30M. It was retired on December 30, 1994, and sold to Transdynamics Inc on April 5, 1995. It was refurbished by F&L Locomotive and Car and sold to Branson Scenic RR as 4265 in January 1995 and later renumbered 99.
