5004, DRS-22b, was built in May, 1964, #A2037, as 8204, Class DRS-22b. It was renumbered 5004 in 1965. The locomotive was painted for the Fort Worth & Western as 5004 at the Texas & Northern shops before delivery.
5007, Class DRS-22b, was built in May 1964, #A2040, as 8207, Class DRS-22b. It was renumbered 5007 in 1965. The locomotive went to FWWR as 5007 via the T&N shops.
5019, Class DRS-22c, was built in July 1965, #2084. It was retired.
5020, Class DRS-22c, was built in July 1965, #A2085. The locomotive went to FWWR as 5020 via the T&N shops.
