General Motors SD40, SD40A Diesels
5410, Class DRF-30x, was built in June 1971, #A2551, as Quebec North Shore & Labrador 214, Class DRS30. It was later sold as CP 5414, Class DRF=30x, in 1986 and sold to Mandak for scrap in 2003.
5414, Class DRF-30x, was built in July 1971, #A2555, as QNS&L 218, Class DRS30. It was later sold as CP 5414, Class DRF-30x, in 1986 and sold to Mandak for scrap in 2003.
5518, Class DRF-30a, was built in September 1966, #2151. It was sold to East Coast Motive Power in 1999 and rebuilt by Alston in 2000 as GEC-Alstom 3085.
5542, Class DRF-30b, was built in February 1967, #A2187. It was was upgraded to -2 standards.
5549, Class DRF-30b, was built in February 1967, #A2194. It was sold as Dakota Minnesota & Eastern 6074 on June 22, 1999.
5571, Class DRF-30g, was built in April 1972, #A2571. It was sold to East Coast Motive Power in 2000 and rebuilt by Alston as First Union Rail 3004 in 2000.
6400 was built by Electro-Motive in June 1970, #35495, as Kansas City Southern 622. It was sold to Soo Line as 622 in August 1986 and then renumbered 6400. It later became CP 6400. It was rebuilt by Alstom in 2000 as GEC-Alstom 3095.
6406, SD40A, was built by Electro-Motive in January 1970, #35685, as Illinois Central Gulf 6019. It went to Helm Leasing as 5019 in 1985 and then to Soo as 6406. It later became CP 6406.
6408, SD40A, was built by Electro-Motive in January 1970, #35687, as ICG 6021. It went to Helm as 5021 in 1985 and then to Soo Line as 6408. It later became CPR 6408.
6411, SD40, was built by Electro-Motive in April 1969, #34778, as Baltimore & Ohio 7500, Class SD-40. It was returned to General American Transportation on May 29, 1984, and sold as Morrison Knudsen Corp 7500 in July 1984. It was sold as Soo Line 6411 in February 1988 and transfered as CPR 6411 in April 1994. It was rebuilt at Ogden as SD40-3 and sold as Dakota Minnesota & Eastern 6096 in May 2001.
