& Ohio 3826, Class GP-38. It was later 2026 and then became CSX
Transportation 2026, Class GP-38. It was retired on June 23, 1994,
and sold to Helm as 2026 in August 15, 1994. It was rebuilt by Peoria Locomotive
in June 1995 in Helm Atlantic Leasing as 109. It later became Yadkin
Valley RR as 109 in 1998.
114, GP-38, was built by Electro-Motive in October 1967, #33321, as
B&O 3803, Class GP-39. It was
later 2003 and then became CSX 2003, Class GP-38.
It was retired on April 26, 1995, and sold to Helm Atlantic as 3803 on
July 10, 1995, and renumbered 114. It
later was sold to Ferrocarril
Mexicano as 2028 in March 1999.
115, GP-38, was built by Electro-Motive in September 1970, #36681, as
B&O 4815, Class GP-38. It was later 2115 and then became CSX 2115, Class
GP-38. It was retired on January 21, on 1997, and sold to Illinois Central on
April 23, 1997. It was sold then to Helm Atlantic as 115 on October 24, 1997, It
was sent to Transportacion
Ferroviaria Mexicana 1154 in December in 1997 and returned to Helm as
1154 in June 2000. It went to Kansas
& Oklahoma RR 1154 in May 2001.
116, GP38, was built by Electro-Motive in September 1970, #36689, as
B&O 4813, Class GP-38. It was later 2113 and then became CSX 2113, Class
GP-38. It was retired on January 22, 1996, and sold to Helm on April 10, 1996.
It became Helm Atlantic 116 on February 1997 and then sold to Rail
Link-Ottawa Valley 2002 in May 1997. It was renumbered 3872 in 2000.
175, GP38, was built by Electro0Motive in May 1971, #37270. as Louisville & Nashville 4032, Class GP-38. It later became Seaboard System 4032 and was renumbered 6253. It was again renumbered 2162 and then became CSX 2162, Class GP-38. It was sold as Helm Atlantic as 175.
177, GP38, was built by Electro-Motive in June 1971, #37631, as L&N 4045, Class GP-38. It later became
SBD 4045 and was renumbered 6265 and later renumbered 2172. It
became CSX 2172, Class GP-38 and later sold Helm Atlantic 177.
200, GP38-2, was built by Electro-Motive in January 1973, #71702-2, as Missouri Pacific 924, and was renumbered 2075 in September 9174. It was returned to Helm without being repainted on April 4, 1994, and was renumbered HATX 200. It was then rebuilt and returned as Union Pacific 1830 on May 23, 1997. It was renumbered 330 on February 28, 2003.
202, GP38-2, was built by Electro-Motive in January 1973, #71702-10, as MP 932 and renumbered 2083 in September 1974. It became UP 2083 on February 8, 1991, and was returned to Helm on April 4, 1994, as HATX 202. It was then rebuilt and returned as UP 1832 on June 3, 1997. It was renumbered 332 on June 5, 2002.
205, GP38-2, was built by Electro-Motive in March 1973, #71702-27, as MP
949 and renumbered 2100 in September 1974. It became UP 2100 0n January 10,
1987, and was returned to Helm on April 4, 1994, as HATX 205. It was then
rebuilt and returned as UP 1835 on April 15, 1997. It was renumbered 335 on
August 8, 2003.
210, GP38-2, was built by Electro-Motive in May 1973, #71702-33, as MP 955 and was renumbered 2106 in September 1974. It was returned to Helm without being repainted in May 1994 and was renumbered HATX 210. It was then rebuilt and returned as UP 1840 on June 3, 1997. It was renumbered 340 on June 30, 2004.
217 GP38-2, was built by Electro-Motive in October 1973, #73607-4. as Seaboard Coast Line 528. It became Seaboard System RR 528 and renumbered 2528. It then became CSX Transportation 2528, Class GP38-2. It was sold as HATX 217 and then sold as Clarendon & Pittsford 204.
302, GP38-3, was built by Electro-Motive in October 1967, #33325, as Baltimore
& Ohio 3807, Class GP-38. It was later 2007 and then became CSX
Transportation 2007, Class GP-38. It was retired on August 29, 1995,
and sold to Helm as 2007 on November 2, 1995. It was rebuilt by Metro East
Industries as Bangor
& Aroostook 302 on July 1996. It was returned to Helm as 302 on
December 15, 2000.
400, GP40, was built by Electro-Motive in January 1971, #35737, as Baltimore
& Ohio 3756, Class GP-40, and was later renumbered 6532. It then
became CSX Transportation 6532, Class GP-40. It was later sold to HATX as 400.
405, GP40, was built by Electro-Motive in December 1966, #32352, as Atlantic
Coast Line 917. It became Seaboard
Coast Line 1502 in July 1967 and then Seaboard System RR 6659. It
then became CSX
Transportation 6659, Class GP-40, and sold to HATX as 405.
419, GP40, was built by Electro-Motive in May 1970, #35907, as Seaboard Coast Line 1606. It became Seaboard System 1606 and renumbered 6760. It then became CSX Transportation 6760, Class GP-40. It was sold as HATX 419 and Green Mountain RR 305 in January 2000.

March 1994 and sold to General Electric Corp. It was then sold to Conrail
Leasing Corp as 536 in March 1994 and later became Consolidated
Railroad Corp 536, Class C30-7. It was returned to General
Electric as 536 in January 1999 and then sold to Helm Leasing. It was
rebuilt as C36M on May 14, 1999, as Union
Pacific 572. It was returned to Helm as 572 on March 1, 2000.
595, C30-7m, was built by General Electric in June 1978, #41711, as
AT&SF 8044, Class 8010. A C30-7. It was retired and sold to General Electric
Corp as 8044. It was renumbered as 586. It was rebuilt in September 1999 as C36M
and leased to UP as 595 on October 1, 1999. It was returned as Helm Leasing 595
on March 1, 2000.
675, SD40-2, was built by Electro-Motive in August 1976, #756155-1, as Kansas
City Southern 675. It was sold to Helm as 675 and then to Canadian
Pacific as 675. It was later renumbered 5420.
913, SD45-2, was built by Electro-Motive in September 1974, #74601-12, as Seaboard
Coast Line 2056. It later became Seaboard
System 8961 and then CSX
Transportation 8961, Class SD45-2. It was sold to Helm as 913.
923, SD45, was built by Electro-Motive in August 1966, #31993, as Southern
Pacific 8807, Class EF636-1. It later became Transportacion

933, SD45T-2, was built by Electro-Motive in February 1972, #7336-26, as
SP 9191, Class EF636-7. It was rebuilt in 1986 as 6780, Class EF636LR-6.
It was later sold to HATX in August 1995 as 933 and later rebuilt by Morrison
Knudsen in April 1996 as KCS 4504.
941, SD45T-2, was built by Electro-Motive in February 1972, #7336-14, as
SP 9177, Class EF636-7. It was rebuilt in 1986 as 6773, Class EF636LR-6. It was
sold to August 1995 as HATX as 941 and rebuilt by Morrison Knudsen in April 1996
as KCS 4501.
942, SD45-2, was built by Electro-Motive in February 1972, #7336-13, as SP
9178, Class EF636-7. It was rebuilt in September 1986 as 6775, Class EF636LR-6.
It was sold in August 1995 to HATX as 942 and rebuilt by Morrison Knudsen in
April 1996 as KCS 4502.
1521, SW1504, was built by Electro-Motive in June 1973, #712691, as Nacionales
de Mexico 8824, Class DE-34. It became Class E-73-1500HP and later to
Helm as 1521.

GP-38. It was retired on March 6, 1996, and sold to Helm on May 2, 1996. It was

GP-38. It was retired on March 6, 1996, and sold to Helm on May 2, 1996. It was

2044, GP40, was built by Electro-Motive in January 1967, #32488, as
Chicago Milwaukee St Paul & Pacific 171, Class 30#-RS. It was
renumbered 2044 in 1968 and became Soo Line RR 2044 in 1985. It was assigned
4628 but was sold to Helm Leasing as 2044 in September 1988. It then became
Union Pacific
878. It was retired on July 23, 1998, and retired to Helm. It was
sold as Florida East Coast Ry 452 in January 1999.
2049, Class GP-38, was built by Electro-Motive in November 1967, #33367,
as B&O 3849, Class GP-38. It was later 2049 and then became CSX 2049, Class
GP-38. It was retired on Nat 9, 1997, and sold to Helm Atlantic as 2049 on July
30, 1997. It was rebuilt by VMV in Jaunary 9, 1998, as UP 2417 and renumbered
917 on August 22, 2003.
2104, GP38, was built by Electro-Motive in August 1970, #36680, as B&O
4804, Class GP-38. It was later 2104 and then became CSX 2104, Class GP-38. It
was retired on January 22, 1996, and was later Helm Leasing Corp at 2104 in
April 10, 1996. It was rebuilt as Unian Pacific as 2416 on September 10, 1997,
and renumbered 916 on January 30, 2004.
2171, GP38, was built by Electro-Motive in May 1971, #37630, as Louisville
& Nashville 4041, Class GP-38. It later became Seaboard
System 6232 and was renumbered 2171 before becoming CSX 2171, Class
GP-38. It was sold to Helm as 2171 and rebuilt by Motive Power Industries in
December 1996 as UP 2406 on December 4, 1996. It was renumbered 906 on

2582, GP38-2, was built by Electro-Motive in September 1972, #72704-3, as L&N 4072, Class GP38-2. It became SBD 4072 and was later renumbered 2582. It then became CSX 2582, Class GP38-2. It was sold to Helm as 2582 and rebuilt by Metro East in February 1998 assigned SP 4847, but completed February 19, 1998, as UP 1973. It was renumbered 473 on June 27, 2001, and retired on October 13, 2003.
2583, GP38-2, was built by Electro-Motive in September 1972, #72704-4, as L&N 4073, Class GP38-2. It became SBD 4073 and was later renumbered 2583. It then became CSX 2583, Class GP38-2. It was sold to Helm as 2583 and rebuilt AMF on April 4, 1994, as SP 153. It was renumbered 4848 on March 30, 1995, and assigned UP 1974 in September 1998 It was later assigned 474 in December 1999 but retired.

7764, Class EF-20. It became Conrail 7764, Class GP-38, in April 1976, and was
sold to CM&W as 7764 in 1968. It was renumbered 2025 and became GW 2025. It
later went to Helm as 2025 and was rebuilt as 3612.

7789, Class EP-20, GP38. It became Conrail 7786, Class GP-38, in April
1976 and became assigned as CM&W as 2035 in 1987 but became National
Helm as 7786 in September 28, 1989. It became Union
Pacific as 1974 in September 28, 1989, and was returned back to Helm
as 3613 as March 28, 1994. It was then rebuilt as GP38-3 as UP
2415 in September 10, 1997, and renumbered as 915 on July 11, 2003.
3614, GP38, was built by Electro-Motive in November 1966, #32665, as Maine Central RR 256, Class DRS-4. It was sold as HL 256 and renumbered 3614. It was sold as Missouri & Northern Arkansas RR 5556 and transferred as Salt Lake Southern RR 5556. It was renumbered and transferred as Arizona Eastern Ry 3815 and transferred as Central Oregon & Pacific 3815. It was transferred as Kiamichi RR 3815.

7761, Class EF-20. It became Conrail 7761, Class GP-38, in April 1976, and was

It had been assigned 4642, but was retired in February 1989. It was sold to Helm Leasing in September 1988 and was leased to National Railway Passenger Corp as 662. It became HL 4201.
4400, GP40, was built by Electro-Motive in September 1968, #34331, as Penn
Central 3154, Class EF-30. It became Conrail 3154, Class GP-40, in
April 1976, and was later sold to Kyle
RR as 3110. In 1994 it was sold to Helm and rebuilt at Loveland as
3110, "The Stephen D Whitham". It was later renumbered 4400.
4403, GP40, was built by Electro-Motive in February 1970, #36168, as Illinois
Central 3072. It was sold to Helm as 3072 and rebuilt as
Amtrak

later returned to Helm as 651. It was renumbered 4406.
4407, GP40, was built by Electro-Motive in October 1967, #33494, as NYC
3083, Class EF-30. It became PC 3083, Class EF-30, in 1968, and Conrail 3083,
Class GP-40, in April 1976. It was sold to Arkansas
& Missouri as 3083 and then sold to Kyle RR as 3116. It was sold
to Helm as 3116 and rebuilt as Amtrak 654 and later returned to Helm as 654. It
was later renumbered 4407.
4408, GP40, was built by Electro-Motive in November 1968, #34691, as PC 3227, Class EF-30. In April 1976 it became Conrail 3227, Class GP-40, and was sold in January 1984 to Boston & Maine as 320. It was rebuilt by VMV as Amtrak 657 in 1991 and returned as Hekn 657 in June 1993. It was renumbered 4408.
4409, GP40, was built by Electro-Motive in November 1968, #34593, as PC 3229, Class EF-30. In April 1976 it became Conrail 3229, Class GP-40, and was sold in January 1984 to B&M as 321. It was rebuilt by VMV as Amtrak 658 in 1991 and returned as Helm 658 in June 1993. It was renumbered 4409.

6021. It went to Helm as 5021 in 1985 and then to Soo Line as 6408. It later
became CPR 6408.
5029, SD40u, was built by Electro-Motive in December 1970, #36916, as Penn Central 6260, Class EF-30A. It became Consolidated Railroad Corp 6260, Class SD-40, in April 1976 and transferred as Conrail Leasing Co 611. It was sold as HL 5029 and leased as Dakota Minnesota & Eeastern 6064. It was rebuilt by Alstom in 2000 as First Union Rail 3009.
5050, SD40u, was built by Electro-Motive in August 1966, #32097, as Chicago
Great Western 406. In 1968 it became Chicago & North Western 926
and was sold to National Ry Equipment Co as 926 in November 1991. It was later
sold to Morrison Knudsen as 9402 and then to Helm as 5050. In August 1997 it
became DM&E 6060 "City of Huron". It was later
rebuilt as FURX 3014.
5055, SD40, was built by Electro-Motive in April 1970, #36128, as Detroit
Edison Co 004. It was sold to Maine
Central as 601 in February 1986 and later to Helm as 5055. It was
rebuilt later as a slug to Terminal
RR Association of St Louis as 2206.
5371, SD45u, was built by Electro-Motive in June 1970, #36407, as Atchison
Topeka & Santa Fe 5618, Class 5500, and was rebuilt at San
Bernardino in November 1983 as 5371, Class 5304. It was sold to Morrison
Knudsen in 1994 and then to Helm in May 1996. It was rebuilt at Boise
in 1997 and sold to Motive Power International in 1999. It was scrapped in March
2000.
5969, SD60, was built by General Motors in October 1986, #867147-54, as Chicago & North Western 8054. It became Union Pacific 5969 on October 10, 1996, and was wrecked on November 6, 1999. It was rebuilt and retired on January 4, 2002. It became Helm 5969.
5991, SD60, was built by General Motors in September 1986, #867147-39, as C&NW 8039. It became UP 5991 on May 14, 1996, and retired on January 4, 2002. It became Helm 5991.

1993. It was overhauled by AMF and became 3064 on January 12, 1994. It was
renumbered 6073 in 1997.
6100, SD40u, was built by Electro-Motive in October 1971, #5801-6, as Burlington
Northern 6305, Class SD40. It was retired in April 1991 and sold to
Cleburne Railway Services in May 1991. They rebuilt it as Helm 6100.
6200, SD40-2, was built by Electro-Motive in February, 1974, #74609-7, as Chicago
& North Western 6822. It was wrecked in 1984 and retired on
September 25, 1997. It was sold to Helm and rebuilt as 6200.
6211, SD40-2, was built by Electro-Motive in June 1974, #73687-13, as Chicago
Milwaukee St Paul & Pacific 194, Class 30ERS6. It was renumbered Soo
Line 6384 in 1985. It was retired in July 1989 and became DM&E
6384, "City of New Ulm", in March 1990. It was returned to Helm and
renumbered 6211.
6212, SD40-2, was built by Electro-Motive in June 1974, #73687-18, as
CMStP&P 199, Class 30ERS6. It was renumbered Soo 6386 in 1985. In July 1989
it was sold to Helm as 6386 and then became DM&E 6386, "City of Walnut
Grove", in March 1990. It was returned to Helm and renumbered 6212.
6223, SD40-M2, was built by Electro-Motive in October 1966, #32404, as UP 3052, SD40. It was retired on April 12, 1989, and sold to Wilson Railway Co on June 6, 1989. It was sold as PLM Leasing Co 3052 in August 1989 and rebuilt by Morrison Knudsen as SD40-2 on September 6, 1990. It was sold to Morrison Knudsen in April 1993 and rebuilt as MPI 9049 on September 2, 1993, SD40-M2. It was sold as Helm 6223 on August 26, 1996, and leased as Transportation Ferroviaria Mexicana 1509.
6297, SD40-2, was built by Electro-Motive in October 1978, #786166-12, as Burlington
Northern 7086, Class SD40-2. It was assigned as Burlington
Northern Santa Fe but later sold to Helm as 6297.
6300, SD40-3, was built by Electro-Motive in September 1971, #37910, as Union
Pacific 3104. It was retired on January 30, 1989, and was sold to
Wilson Railway Co on June 6, 1989. It was sold to PLM
Leasing Co in August 1989, It was rebuilt by Morrison-Knudsen in
August 31, 1990, and sold to MK in April 1998. MK rebuilt it as SD40-3 on April
4, 1994, as MK
9053. It was then sold to Helm as 6300 on August 26, 1996. It was leased to Transportacion
Ferroviaria Mexicano as 1511 and later returned to Helm.
6303, SD40-3, was built by Electro-Motive in February 1968, #33780, as Missouri
Pacific 729. It was renumbered 3029 in 1978 aand assigned to UP as
4029 in July 1985. It was retired on January 30, 1989, and was sold to Wilson
Railway Co on Marc 17, 1989. It was sold to PLM as 3029 in August 1989 and was
rebuilt by Morrison Knudsen in April 1993 as SD40-3. It was sold to MK in
February 24, 1994, as 9052, and then sold to Helm as 6303 on August 26, 1996. It
was leased to TFM as 1514 and later returned.
6359, SD40-2, was built by Electro-Motive in June 1974, #73687-12, as
CMStP&P 193, Class 30ERS6. It was renumbered Soo 6359 in 1985 and was sold
to Helm as 6359 in July 1989. It was sold to DM&E as 6359, "Mount
Rushmore", in March 1990.
6360, SD40-2, was built ny Electro-Motive in June 1974, #73687-15, as
CMStP&P 195, Class 30ERS6. It was renumbered Soo 6360 in 1985. In July 1989
it was sold to Helm as 6360 and then became DM&E 6360, "City of

6515, SDP45, was built by Electro-Motive in August 1970, #36659, as Erie
Lackawanna 3655, Class MFE-36D-6A. It became Consolidated
Railroad Corpl 6686, Class SDP-45, in April 1976 and later was told
to VMV
Enterprises as 6686 in 1986. It was then sold to Helm as 6515.
6550, SD45, was built by Electro-Motive in March 1970, #35788, as Southern Pacific 9151, Class EF636-6, SD45. It was sold as Helm 6550 in February 1988 and rebuilt as SD40M-3 on June 18, 1994, as SP 8589. It was renumbered as UP 2665 on June 19, 2001.
6600, SD45-3, was built by Electro-Motive in January 1968, #33848, as Pennsylvania RR 6224, Class EF-36. SD45. It became Penn Central 6224, Class EF-36, in 1968 and then Consolidated Railroad Corp as 6224, Class SD-45, in April 1976. It was sold as Chicago & North Western 6547 on November 7, 1983, and rebuilt with a Caterpillar as 6000 in February 1986. It was sold to Helm and rebuilt as 6600, SD45-3.
7001, SD45, was built by Electro-Motive in January 1969, #34554, as Chicago
Burlington & Quincy 519. It became BN 6460, Class SD-45, in 1970
and was returned to the leason in February 1984. It was sold to C&NW and
became 6579 on February 28, 1984. It was retired on November 19, 1987, amd sold
to VMV in October 1989. It was then sold to Morrison-Knudsen
as 9508 and then to Helm as 7001. It was again sold to Wisconsin
Central Ltd as 6630. It was finally sold to Larry's Truck Equipment
Co.
7007, SD45, was built by Electro-Motive in October 1971, #37729, as Seaboard
Coast Line 2038. It later became Seaboard System 8938 and then CSX
Transportation 893, Class SD-45. It was sold to VMV Enterprises as 8938 and then
to Morrison Knudsen Corp as 9523. It then was sold to Helm as 7004. They
sold it to WCLtd as 6636. It was sold to Larry's
Truck Equipment in September 2002.
7011, SD45u, was built by Electro-Motive in July 1970, #36661, as Erie
Lackawanna 3657, Class MFE-36D-6A. It was rebuilt
from an SDP45 by Electro-Motive in 1974 to -2 standards. In April 1976 it became
Consolidated
Railroad Corp 6688, Class SD45-2. It was later sold to VMV
Enterprises as 6688. On March 19, 1994, it was sold to MK as
9512. Later it became Helm 7011. It finally came to Montana
Rail-Link as 332.
7562, SD45, was built in by Electro-Motive in February 1968, #33638, as Southern
Pacific 8941, Class EF636-3. It was rebuilt in 1986 as 7562, Class
EF636LR-4. It was sold to Helm as 7562 and then rebuilt in 1996 as Buffalo
& Pittsburgh 453.
7700, GP60, was built by Electro-Motive in May 1990, #896051-1, as Texas-Mexican Ry 869. It was sold as Helm Leasing Corp 7700 and resold as VTR 381.It was returned as Helm 7700 in September 2004.
