Electro-Motive F Unit Diesels

5405A, FTA, was built in July 1944, #2559, FN E611-A3, as 6005A.  It was renumbered 5405A in December 1949 and traded in to Electro-Motive on February 1, 1967l

5409A, FTA, was built in January 1945, #2838, FN E636-A3, as 6009A.  It was renumbered 5409A in December 1949 and traded in to Electro-Motive on March 23, 1970.

6001A, F3A, was built in January 1947, #3781, FN E759-A3, as 6012A. It was renumbered 6001A in December 1949 and assigned Burlington Northern 704, Class F-3, but retired in April 1970 before it was renumbered. 

6001C, F3B, was built in January 1947, #3877, FN E759-B6. It became BN 703, Class F-3, in 1970 and was retired in September 1974.

6014A, F7A, was built in May 1951, #14254, FN 3092-A3.  It became BN 732, Class F-7, in 1970 and sold as Cadillac & Lake City 732 in February 1982.  It was sold as Colorado & Eastern 732 and sold for scrap to Pielet Brothers in January 1991.

6014B, F7B, was built in May 1951, #14266, FN 3092-B3.  It became BN 733, Class F-7, in 1970 and retired in November 1981.  It was sold to Chrome Crankshaft Co in December 1981 and rebuilt as  Ontario Northland Ry  205, an Electric Generator Unit.

6014D, F7A, was built in May 1951, #14255, FN 3092-A4.  It became BN 734, Class F-7, in 1970 and retired in May 1973.

6015A, F7A, was built in May 1951, #14256, FN 3092-A5.  It became BN 736, Class F-7, in 1970 and retired in August 1971.

6015B, F7B, was built in May 1951, #14268, FN 3092-B5.  It became BN 737, Class F-7, in 1970 and sold to Chrome Crankshaft in March 1981.

6015D, F7A, was built in May 1951, #14257, FN 3092-A6.  It became BN 738, Class F-7, in 1970 and retired in April 1981.

6016A, F7A, was built in May 1951, #14258, FN 3092-A7.  It became BN 740, Class F-7, in 1970 and retired in June 1974.

6016B, F7B, was built in May 1951, #14270, FN 3092-B7.  It became BN 741, Class F-7, in 1970 and retired in December 1980.

6016C, F7B, was built in June 1951, #14271, FN 3092-B8.  It became BN 743, Class F-7, in 1970 and retired in March 1973.

6017B, F7B, was built in June 1951, #14272, FN 3092-B9.  It became BN 745, Class F-7, in 1970 and retired in November 1971.

6017C, F7B, was built in June 1951, #14273, FN 3092-B10.  It became BN 747, Class F-7, in 1970 and sold to Precision National Corp in November 1970.

6017D, F7A, was built in June 1951, #14261, FN 3092-A10.  It became BN 746, Class F-7, in 1970 and retired in November 1973.

6018B, F7B, was built in June 1951, #14274, FN 3092-B11.  It became BN 749, Class F-7, in 1970 and rebuilt in April 1972 as Remote Control Unit 107. 

6018C, F7B, was built in June 1975, #14275, FN 3092-B12.  It became BN 751, Class F-7, in 1970 and retired in December 1981.

6018D, F7A, was built in May 1951, #14263, FN 3092-A12.  It became BN 750, Class F-7, in 1970 and retired in March 1973.

6506A, F3A, was built in April 1947, #4787, FN E722-A1.

6509A, F7A, was built in September 1949, #8732, FN E1214-A2.  It became BN 9776, Class P-7, in 1970 and sold as Amtrak 102 in 1972.

6700A, F9A, was built in February 1954, #19056, FN 3175-A1. It became BN 9800, Class P-9, in 1970. It later became 766, Class F-9, and was rebuilt in November 1981 as 972567. It was again rebuilt in September 1990 as BN-1, Class F9-2A, completed on October 3, 1990.

7001B, F9B, was built in January 1954, #19054, FN 3176-B3.  It became BN 805, Class F-9, in 1970 and retired in August 1982.

7002C, F9B, was built in August 1954, #19749, FN 3179-B2.  It became BN 809, Class F-9, in 1970 and retired in November 1982.  It was rebuilt as 972574, Rotary Snow Power Unit, and rebuilt at West Burlington in October 1990 as BN-2, Class F9B-2.  It was donated to Illinois Railway Museum in 1997.

7003A, F9A, was built in September 1954, #19740, FN 3179-A3.  It became BN 812, Class F-9, in 1970 and rebuilt as RSPU 927571 in December 1981.  It became Burlington Northern Santa Fe  927571.

7007D, F9A, was built in February 1955, #20325, FN 3181-A2.  It was renumbered 6702C on April 1, 1964, and became BN 9810, Class P-9, in 1970.  It was renumbered 776, Class F-9, in July 1973 and traded in to General Electric in August 1982.

7011D, F9A, was built in March 1956, #21107, FN 3189-A4.  It was renumbered 6704C on April 11, 1966, and became BN 9818, Class P-9, in 1970.  It was renumbered 784, Class F-9, in July 1973 and rebuilt as RSPU 927570 in December 1981.  It became BNSF 927570.
