Electro-Motive F Unit Diesels
6001A, F3A, was built in January 1947, #3781, as 6012A. It was renumbered 6001A in December 1949 and became Burlington Northern 704, Class F-3, in 1970. It later became Seattle & North Coast as 103 in 1981 and later Iowa Northern 103. It later was sold as The Grand Traverse Train 1951.
6001C, F3B, was built in January 1947, #3877. It became BN 703, Class F-3, in 1970 and was retired in September 1974.
6700A, F9A, was built in February 1954, #19056. It became BN 9800, Class P-9, in 1970. It later became 766, Class F-9, and was rebuilt in November 1981 as 972567. It was again rebuilt in September 1990 as 1, Class F9-2A, completed on October 3, 1990.
7007D, F9A, was built in February 1955, #20325. It was renumbered 6702C on April 1, 1964, and became BN 9810, Class P-9, in 1970. It was renumbered 776, Class F-9, in July 1973 and traded in to General Electric in August 1982.
