Electro-Motive GP38 Diesels

 

1947, Class GP-38, was built in July 1970, #36804, as Pennsylvania-Reading Seashore Line 2013, Class EF-20.  It later became Consolidated Railroad Corp 7673, Class GP-38.  It went to CSX as 1947 and then sold to Locomotive Leasing Partners as 2015.

1957, Class GP-38, was built in June 1969, #35318, as Penn Central 7689, Class EF-20. It later became Conrail 7689, Class GP-38, in April 1976, and later CSX 1957, Class GP-38.

1968, Class GP-38, was built in February 1971, #36955, as PC 7896, Class EF-20. It later became Conrail 7896, Class GP-38, in April 1976, and later CSX 1968, Class GP-38. It was sold to Locomotive Leasing Partners 2021 in 2002.

1969, Class GP-38, was built by Electro-Motive in July 1969, #35364, as PC 7735, Class EF-20.  It became Conrail 7735, Class GP-38, in April 1976, and later CSX 1969, Class GP-38.  It was later sold to LLP as 2032,

2003, Class GP-38, was built in October 1967, #33321, as Baltimore & Ohio 3803, Class GP-38.  It was later 2003 and then became CSX 2003, Class GP-38.  It was retired on April 26, 1995, and sold to Helm Atlantic Leasing Corp as 3803 on July 10, 1995, and renumbered 114.  It later was sold to Ferrocarril Mexicano as 2028 in March 1999.

2005, Class GP-38, was built in October 1967, #33323, as B&O 3805, Class GP-38, It was later 2005 and then became CSX 2005, Class GP-38. It was retired on May 28, 1991, and sold to Phoenix Locomotive Leasing and sold as Conrail as 7602. However it went to Conrail Leasing as 302. It was then rebuilt at Juniata on April 25, 1995, as Amtrak 721.

2007, Class GP-38, was built in October 1967, #33325, as Baltimore & Ohio 3807, Class GP-38. It was later 2007 and then became CSX 2007, Class GP-38. It was retired on August 29, 1995, and sold to Helm Leasing Corp as 2007 on November 2, 1995. It was rebuilt by Metro East Industries as Bangor & Aroostook 302 on July 1996. It was returned to Helm as 302 on December 15, 2000.

2013, Class GP-38, was built in October 1967, #33331, as B&O 3813, Class GP-39. It was later 2013 and then became CSX 2013, Class GP-38. It was retired on August 29, 1995, and sold to Helm as 2013 on November 2, 1995. It was rebuilt by Metro East as BAR 303 in July 1996. It was returned to Helm renumber 3662

2026, Class GP-38, was built in October 1967, #33344, as B&O 3825, Ckass GP-38. It was later 2026 and then became CSX 2026, Class GP-38. It was retired on June 23, 1994, and sold to Helm as 2026 in August 15, 1994. It was rebuilt by Peoria Locomotive in June 1995 in Helm Atlantic Leasing as 109. It later became Yadkin Valley RR as 109 in 1998.

2027, Class GP-38, was built in October 1967, #33345, as B&O 3827, Class GP-38. It was later 2027 and then became CSX 2027, Class GP-38. It was retired on October 21, 1996, and sold to Helm as 2027 in November 27, 1996. It was rebuilt by Boise in May 1997 as Union Pacific as 2412 on May 2, 1997. It was renumbered 912 on May 26, 2003.

2029, Class GP-38, was built in October 1967, #33347, as B&O 3829, Class GP-38. It was later 2029 and then became CSX 2029, Class GP-38. It was retired on November 25, 1992, and sold to Steel Precessing Corp on March 11, 1993. It later became Quebec North Shore & Labrador as 9501 on November 15, 1995.

2032, Class GP-38, was built in October 1967, #33350, as B&O 3832, Class GP-38. It was later 2032 and then became CSX 2032, Class GP-38. It was retired on February 1, 1996, and sold to Helm on May 2, 1996. It was rebuilt by Boise in December 1996 as UP 2408 on December 17, 1996. It was renumbered 908 on January 24, 2004.

2033, Class GP-38, was built in October 1967, #33351, as B&O 3833, Class GP-38. It was later 2033 and then became CSX 2033, Class GP-38. It was retired on March 6, 1996, and sold to Helm on May 2, 1996. It was rebuilt by Boise in November 1996 as UP 2400 on November 6, 1996. It was renumbered 900 on July 23, 2003.

2034, Class GP-38, was built in October 1967, #33352, as B&O 3834, Class GP-38. It was later 2034 and then became CSX 2034, Class GP-38. It was retired on March 6, 1996, and sold to Helm on May 2, 1996. It was rebuilt by Boise in November 1996 as UP 2401 on November 9, 1996. It was renumbered 901 on December 11, 2003.

2037, Class GP-38, was built in October 1967, #33355, as B&O 3837, Class GP-38, and was rebuilt by Electro-Motive in July 1971. It was later renumbered 2037 and then became CSX 2037, Class GP-38. It was retired on December 9, 1992, and sold to Consolidated Railroad Corp in June 10, 1993. It was rebuilt in Juniata in 1994 as Conrail Leasing Corp as 303. It was sold as Buffalo & Pittsburgh RR as 2000 in November 1994.

2038, Class GP-38, was built in October 1967, #33356, as B&O 3838, Class GP-38. It was later 2038 and then became CSX 2038, Class GP-38. It was retired on January 13, 1993, and sold for scrap by Steel Processing Co on March 11, 1993.

2039, Class GP-38, was built in October 1967, #33357, as B&O 3839, Class GP-38. It was later 2039 and then became CSX 2039, Class GP-38. It was retired in November 25, 1992, and sold as Conrail Leasing 304 in 1994. It was rebuilt at Juniata in December 1994 and sold to Central Oregon & Pacific as 5039 on December 9, 1994. It was renumbered as 3820 in 1998.

2040, Class GP-38, was built in December 1967, #33358, as B&O 3840, Class GP-38. It was later 2040 and then came CSX 2040, Class GP-38. It was sold to Locomotive Leasing Partner as 2040 in May 31, 2000.

2041, Class GP-38, was built in November 1967, #33359, as B&O 3841, Class GP-38. It was later 2041 and then came CSX 2041, Class GP-38. It was retired on March 30, 1992, and was sold for Housatonic RR on August 11, 1992. It was sold on September 8, 1992, on Conrail and became Conrail Leasing Co as 305 on 1994. It then came to CORP as 5041 on April 5, 1995, and was renumbered 3821 on August 1998. It was transferred as Salt Lake City Southern RR 3821 on August 1999 and then Goodrich-Exeter RR 3821 on December 1999.

2042, Class GP-38, was built in November 1967, #33360, as B&O 3842, Class GP-38. It was later 2042 and then came CSX 2042, Class GP-38. It was retired on March 3, 1993, and was sold on June 10, 1993, to Conrail Leasing Co as 306. It was rebuilt at Juniata on December 6, 1994, and sold to CORP as 5042 in December 1994 and was renumbered 3822 in 1998.

2046, Class GP-38, was built in November 1967, #33364, as B&O 3846, Class GP-38. It was later 2046 and then became CSX 2046, Class GP-38.  It was retired in January 31, 1992, and was later sold to Aberdeen Carolina & Western as 3802 in September 22, 1992. It was wrecked in April 2002.

2049, Class GP-38, was built in November 1967, #33367, as B&O 3849, Class GP-38. It was later 2049 and then became CSX 2049, Class GP-38. It was retired on May 9, 1997, and sold to Helm Atlantic as 2049 on July 30, 1997. It was rebuilt by VMV in January 9, 1998, as UP 2417 and renumbered 917 on August 22, 2003.

2057, Class GP 38, was built in November 1967, #33688, as Chesapeake & Ohio 3857. Class GP-38.. It was later renumbered 2057 and then became CSX 2057, Class GP-38. It was sold to Conrail Leasing Corp as 301 and then Central Oregon & Pacific as 5057 in 1994. It was renumbered 3826 in 1997.

2060, Class GP-38, was built in November 1967, #33691, as C&O 3860, Class GP-38. It was later renumbered 2060 and then became CSX 2060, Class GP-38. It was sold to Railtex in 1994 as Texas NorthEastern 5060, and was renumbered 3862 in 1997.

2063, Class GP-38, was built in November 1967, #33694, as C&O 3863, Class GP-38.  It was renumbered 2063 and then became CSX 2063, Class GP-38.

2078, Class GP-38, was built in November 1967, #33709, as C&O 3878, Class GP-38. It was later 2078 and then became CSX 2078, Class GP-38. It was sold to National Railway Equipment Co and sold to Virginia Southern as 5078. It was transferred to Georgia Southwestern as 3813.

2086, Class GP-38, was built in December 1967, #33717, as C&O 3886, Class GP-38.  It was later 2086 and then became CSX 2086, Class GP-38.

2104, Class GP-38, was built in August 1970, #36680, as B&O 4804, Class GP-38. It was later 2104 and then became CSX 2104, Class GP-38. It was retired on January 22, 1996, and was later Helm Leasing Corp at 2104 in April 10, 1996. It was rebuilt as Unian Pacific as 2416 on September 10, 1997, and renumbered 916 on January 30, 2004.

2107, Class GP-38, was built in September 1970, #36683, as B&O 4807, Class GP-38. It was later 2107 and then became CSX 2107, Class GP-38. It was retired on December 4, 1998, and was sold to LLP as 2010 in July 1999.

2112, Class GP-38, was built in September 1970, #36688, as B&O 4812, Class GP-38. It was later 2112 and then became CSX 2112, Class GP-38. It was retired in April 2000 and was sold to LLP as 2026 in February 2001.

2113, Class GP-38, was built in September 1970, #6689, as B&O 4813, Class GP-38. It was later 2113 and then became CSX 2113, Class GP-38. It was retired on January 22, 1996, and sold to Helm on April 10, 1996. It became Helm Atlantic 116 on February 1997 and then sold to Rail Link-Ottawa Valley 2002 in May 1997. It was renumbered 3872 in 2000.

2115, Class GP-38, was built in September 1970, #36681, as B&O 4815, Class GP-38. It was later 2115 and then became CSX 2115, Class GP-38. It was retired on January 21, on 1997, and sold to Illinois Central on April 23, 1997. It was sold then to Helm Atlantic as 115 on October 24, 1997, It was sent to Transportacion Ferroviaria Mexicana 1154 in December in 1997 and returned to Helm as 1154 in June 2000. It went to Kansas & Oklahoma RR 1154 in May 2001.

2141, Class GP-38, was built in June 1970, #36324, as Louisville & Nashville 4011, Class GP-38. It became Seaboard System 4011 and later renumbered as 6232, It later became CSX as 2141, Class GP-38, and later sold to North Carolina & Virginia as 5142.

2163, Class GP-38, was built at May 1971, #37271, as L&N 4033, Class GP-38. It later became SBD 4033 and was renumbered 6254. It was again renumbered 2163 and then became CSX 2163, Class GP-38. It was sold to National Railway Equipment Co as 2163.

2171, Class GP-38, was built in May 1971, #37630, as Louisville & Nashville 4041, Class GP-38. It later became Seaboard System 6232 and was renumbered 2171 before becoming CSX 2171. It was sold to Helm as 2171 and rebuilt by Motive Power Industries in December 1996 as UP 2406 on December 4, 1996. It was renumbered 906 on October 25, 2001.

2172, Class GP -38, was built in June 1971, #37631, as L&N 4045, Class GP-38. It later became SBD 4045 and was renumbered 6265 and later renumbered 2172. It became CSX 2172, Class GP-38 and later sold Helm Atlantic 177.

2177, Class GP-38, was built in June 1971, #37636, as L&N 4047, Class GP-38. It later became SBD as 4047 and later renumbered 6268. It later became CSX 2177, Class GP-38. It was sold to Helm as 2177 and later rebuilt by Metro-East Industries in 1996 as Southern Pacific as 4873. It became UP 498 on October 8, 2002.

2183, GP38, was built in April 1967, #33095, as Clinchfield RR 2003. It later became SBD 6270 and renumbered 2183. It then became CSX 2183, Class GP-38. It later was rebuilt as CORP as 5183 and then renumbered 3828 in 1998.

2186, Class GP38, was built in April 1967, #33068, as CRR 2008. It later became SBD 6277 and then was renumbered 2186. It then became CSX 2186, Class GP-38.
