Electro-Motive GP38 Diesels

 

(7602) was built in October 1967, #33323, as Baltimore & Ohio 3805, Class GP-38, It was later 2005 and then became CSX Transportation 2005, Class GP-38. It was retired on May 28, 1991, and sold to Phoenix Locomotive Leasing and sold as Conrail as 7602. However it went to Conrail Leasing as 302. It was then rebuilt at Juniata on April 25, 1995, as Amtrak 721.

7656, Class GP38, was built in December 1971, #7368-1, as Lehigh Valley 310, Class ERS-20. It later became Conrail 7656, Class GP-38, in April 1976, and later Norfolk Southern as Pennsylvania Rail Road 2881.

7665, Class GP38, was built in April 1969, #34752, as Pennsylvania Reading Seashore Lines 2005, Class EF-20.  It later became Conrail 7665, Class GP-38, in April 1976.  It was then sold to Bangor & Aroostook as 93 in 1983 and later rebuilt as 353.

7673, Class GP38, was built in July 1970, #36804, as PRSL 2013, Class EF-20.  It later became Conrail 7673, Class GP-38, in April 1976.  It went to CSX as 1947 and then sold to Locomotive Leasing Partners as 2015.

7689, Class GP38, was built in June 1969, #35318, as Penn Central 7689, Class EF-20. It later became Conrail 7689, Class GP-38, in April 1976, and later CSX Transportation 1957, Class GP-38.

7696, Class GP38, was built in June 1969, #35325, as PC 7696, Class EF-20. It later became Conrail 7696, Class GP-38, in April 1976, and later NS as PRR 2891. It later was rebuilt to Fort Worth & Western RR as 2005, "Maj Ripley Arnold", a GP38-3.

7735, Class GP38, was built in July 1969, #35364, as PC 7735, Class EF-20.  It became Conrail 7735, Class GP-38, in April 1976, and later CSX 1969, Class GP-38.  It was later sold to LLP as 2032,

7750, Class GP38, was built in August 1969, #35379, as PC 7750, Class EF-20. It became Conrail 7750, Class GP-38, in April 1976, and was sold to Chicago Missouri & Western as 7750 in 1986. It was renumbered 2021 and became Gateway Western 2021. It later went to Helm Leasing as 2021 and was rebuilt as 3610.

7754, Class GP38, was built in September 1969, #35383, as PC 7754, Class EF-20. In April 1976 it became Conrail 7754, Class GP-38. It was rebuilt by National Ry. Equipment Co. in October 1986, as Alaska RR 2006.

7761, Class GP38, was built in August 1969, #34390, as PC 7761, Class EF-20. It became Conrail 7761, Class GP-38, in April 1976, and was sold to CM&W as 7761 in 1968. It was renumbered 2022 and became GW 2022. It later went to Helm as 2022 and was rebuilt as 3615.

7762, Class GP38, was built in August 1969, #35391, as PC 7762, Class EF-20. It became Conrail 7762, Class GP-38, in April 1976, and was sold to CM&W as 7762 in 1968. It was renumbered 2023 and became GW 2023. It later went to Helm as 2023 and was rebuilt as 3611. It went later to Rail Link - Ottawa Valley as 2009,

7764, Class GP38, was built in August 1969, #34393, as PC 7764, Class EF-20. It became Conrail 7764, Class GP-38, in April 1976, and was sold to CM&W as 7764 in 1968. It was renumbered 2025 and became GW 2025. It later went to Helm as 2025 and was rebuilt as 3612.

7780, Class GP38, was built in September 1969, #35409, as PC 7780, Class EF-20. In April 1976 it became Conrail 7780, Class GP-38. It was rebuilt by National Ry Equipment Co in October 1986 as ARR 2007.

7789, Class GP38, was built in October 1969, #35416-8, as PC 7789, Class EF-20. It became Conrail 7786, Class GP-38, in April 1976 and became assigned as CM&W as 2035 in 1987 but became National Helm as 7786 in September 28, 1989. It became Union Pacific as 1974 in September 28, 1989, and was returned back to Helm Leasing as 3613 as March 28, 1994. It was then rebuilt as GP38-3 as UP 2415 in September 10, 1997, and renumbered as 915 on July 11, 2003.

7797, Class GP38, was built in October 1969, #35426, as PC 7797, Class EF-20. It became Conrail 7797, Class GP-30, in April 1976, and was sold to CM&W as 7767 in 1968. It was renumbered 2037 and became GW 2037.

7803, Class GP38, was built in October 1969, #35432, as PC 7803, Class EF-20.  It became Conrail 7803, Class GP-38, in April 1976 and was later sold to Quaboag Transfer as 7803.  It was then sold to Buffalo & Pittsburgh as 7303.

7810, Class GP38, was built by Electro-Motive in October 1969, #35439, as PC 7810, Class EF-20. It became Conrail 7810, Class GP-38, in April 1976. It became CM&W 7810 in 1987 and was renumbered 2045. It was returned to Helm Leasing as 3609 and leased to the IANR as 3609.

7838, Class GP38, was built in May 1970, #36454, as PC 7838, Class EF-20. It became Conrail 7838, Class GP-38, in April 1976. It was sold to Burlington Northern as 2166, Class GP38X, in July 1985 and later became Burlington Northern Santa Fe 2166, Class GP38.

7843, Class GP38, was built in May 1970, #36459, as PC 7843, Class EF-20.  It became Conrail 7843, Class GP-38, in April 1976 and later sold to Genesee & Wyoming as 51.

7862, Class GP38, was built in June 1970, #36478, at PC 7862, Class EF-20.  It became Conrail 7862, Class GP-38, in April 1976 and later was sold to G&W as 50.
