6335, Class SD40-2, was built in November 1977, #776029-1, as Atchison Topeka & Santa Fe 5020, Class 5020. It became BNSF 6335, Class SD40-3, on January 14, 2000.

6338, Class SD40-2, was built in November 1977, #776030-2, as AT&SF 5023, Class 5020. It became BNSF 6338, Class SD40-2, in March 1998.

6342, Class SD40-2, was built in November 1977, #776030-4, as AT&SF 5027, Class 5020. It was rebuilt at San Bernardino on September 8, 1988, and became BNSF 6342, Class SD40-2, on March 12, 2000.

6347, Class SD40-2, was built in October 1977, #776031-5, as AT&SF 5032, Class 5020. It was rebuilt at San Bernardine in October 1988 and became BNSF 6347, Class SD40-2, on April 15, 1999.

6358, Class SD40-2, was built in November 1977, #776031-17, as ATSF 5044. Class 5020. It was rebuilt at San Bernardino in May 1988, and became BNSF 6358, Class SD40-2, on April 3, 1998.

6362, Class SD40-2, was built in November 1977, #776031-21, as ATSF 5048, Class 5020. It was rebuilt at San Bernardino on September 20, 1988, and became BNSF 6362, Class SD40-2, on October 7, 1998.

6363, Class SD40-2, was built in May 1972, #5812-16, as Colorado & Southern 915. In August 1979 it was renumbered 6363, Class SD40-2. In January 1982 it became Burlington Northern 6363, Class SD40-2, and it later became BNSF 6363, Class SD40-2.

6386, Class SD40-2, was built in March 1972, #5815-2, as C&S 904, Class SD40-2. In August 1979 it was renumbered 6352, Class SD40-2. In January 1982 ut became BN 6352, Class SD40-2, and it became BNSF 6386, Class SD40-2, in June 1998.

6369 , Class SD40-2, was built in March 1972, #5812-8, as C&S 907. In August 1979 it was renumbered 6355, Class SD40-2. In January 1982 it became BN 6355, Class SD40-2. It became BNSF 6369, Class SD40-2, in May 1998.

6711, Class SD40-2, was built in November 1977, #776031-25, as ATSF 5052, Class 5020. It was rebuilt at San Bernardino in May 1988, and became BNSF 6711, Class SD40-2, on January 23, 2000.

6715, Class SD40-2, was built in November 1977, #776031-29, as ATSF 5056, Class 5020. It was rebuilt at San Bernardino in June 1988, and became BNSF 6715, Class SD40-2, on January 26, 1998.

7009, Class SD40-2, was built in December 1977, #776053-19, as BN 7009, Class SD40-2.. It became BNSF 7009, Class SD40-2, in October 1901.

7072, Class SD40-2, was built in July 1978, #776057-10, as BN 7072, Class SD40-2.  It because BNSF 7072, Class SD40-2, in March 2001.

(7084), Class SD40-2, was built in October 1978, #786166-10, as BN 7084, Class SD-40-2. It was assigned BNSF 7084, Class SD40-2, and was returned to CIT Financial as 7084 in December 1999.

(7086), Class SD40-2, was built in October 1978, #786166-12, as BN 7086, Class SD40-2. It was assigned as BNSF but later sold to Helm Leasing as 6297.

(7115), Class SD40-2, was built in December 1975, #786166-41, as BN 7115, Class SD40-2. It was assigned as BNSF 7115, Class SD40-2, but it was returned to CIT as 7115 in December 1999. 

7256, Class SD40-2, was built in February 1980, #786252-21, as BN 7156, Class SD40-2.  It became BNSF 7256, Class SD40-2, in July 1999 and sold as First Union Rail 7256 in February 2002.

7259, Class SD40-2, was built in February 1980, #786252-24, as BN 7258, Class SD40-2.  It became BNSF 7259, Class SD40-2, and sold as FURX 7259 in February 2002.

7289, Class SD40-2, was built in April 1980, #786252-54, as BN 7289, Class SD40-2.  It became BNSF 7289, Class SD40-2, in November 2001 and sold as FURX 7289 in February 2002.

7807, Class SD40-2, was built in June 1977, #766070-1, as C&S 937. In August 1979 it was renumbered 7807, Class SD40-2. In January 1982 it became BN 7807, Class SD40-2, and it later became BNSF 7807, Class SD40-2.

7812, Class SD40-2, was built in June 1977, #766070-6, as C&S 942. In August 1979 it was renumbered 7812, Class SD40-2. In January 1982 it became BN 7812, Class SD40-2, and it later became BNSF 7812, Class SD40-2, in January 2003.

7819, Class SD40-2, was built in June 1977, #766070-13, as C&S 949. In August 1979 it was renumbered 7819, Class SD40-2. In January 1982 it became BN 7819, Class SD40-2, and it became BNSF 7819, Class SD40-2, in May 2001.

7824, Class SD40-2, was built in November 1974, #74648-5, as C&S 954. In August 1979 it was renumbered 7824, Class SD40-2. In January 1982 it became BN 7824, Class SD40-2, and it became BNSF 7824, Class SD40-2, in July 2002.

7857, Class SD40-2, was built in October 1978, #786001-2, as C&S 7857, Class SD40-2. In January 1982 it became BN 7857, Class SD40-2, and in January 2000 it became BNSF 7857, Class SD40-2.

7866, Class SD40-2, was built in October 1978, #786001-11, as C&S 7866, Class SD40-2. In January 1982, it became BN 7866, Class SD40-2, and BNSF 7866, Class SD40-2, in August 2003.

7907, Class SD40-2, was built in June 1979, #786173-80, as C&S 7907, Class SD40-2. In January 1982, it became BN 7907, Class SD40-2. It was wrecked June 1984 and retired. In January 1985 it was sold for scrap to Schnitzer Steel.

7918, Class SD40-2, was built in June 1979, #786173-91, ex C&S 7918, Class SD40-2. In January 1982 it became BN 7918, Class SD40-2 and in September 1999 it became BNSF 7918, Class SD40-2.

8013, Class SD40-2, was built in March 1978, #776055-24, as BN 8013, Class SD40-2. It became BNSF 8013, Class SD40-2, in February 2000.

8081, Class SD40-2, was built by General Motors in August 1979, #A3760, as BN 8081, Class SD40-2. It became BNSF 8081, Class GP40-2, on May 2001.

(8153), Class SD40-2, was built in July 1980, #786256-64, as BN 8153, Class SD40-2. It was assigned as BNSF 8153, Class SD40-2, and was sold to Helm Leasing as 8153 in January 2001.
