Electro-Motive SW8, TR6 Diesels

1100, TR6A, Class ES408-1, was built in November 1950, 13549, FN 4147-A1, as General Motors Corp 1100A. It was sold to SP as 4600. Class DF-300, in April 1951. It was reclassified Class DS-600 and renumbered 1100, Class ES408-1, in 1966.  It was sold to Sierra Pacific Corp as Quincy RR 1100.  In 2004 it was acquired by Feather River Railway Museum.

1101, TR6A, Class ES408-1, was built in October 1951, #15084, FN 4100-A1, as 4601, Class DF-300.  It was reclassified Class DS-600 in 1963 and renumbered 1101, Class ES408-1 in 1966.  It was sold to National Metals Corp in May 1972 and scrapped in June 1972.

1102, TR6A, Class ES408-1, was built in October 1951, #15085. FN 4100-A2, as 4602, Class DF-300.  It was reclassified Class DS-600 in 1963 and renumbered 1102, Class ES408-1, in 1966.  It was sold to Chrome Crankshaft Co and sold as Hanson & Mueller Grain Elevator 1102.

1105, SW8, Class ES408-2, was built in April 1953, #17160, FN 4165-2, as Texas & New Orleans 13, Class DF-302.  It was reclassified Class DS-602, in 1963 and became SP 1105, Class ES408-2, in 1966.  It was sold as Lewis & Clark Ry 80 in 1984 and sold as East Portland Traction Co 803 in 1996.  It became Oregon Pacific RR 803 in 1997 and sold as Western Rail 803 in June 2010.

1106, SW8, Class ES408-2, was built in April 1953, #17161, FN 4165-3, as T&NO 14, Class DF-302.  It was reclassified Class DS-602 in 1963 and became SP 1106, Class ES408-2, in 1966.   It was traded in to Electro-Motive in June 1972.

1111, SW8, Class ES408-2, was built in March 1953, #17333, FN 4180-3, as 4606, Class DF-302.  It was reclassified Class DS-602 in 1963 and became SP 1111, Class ES408-2, in 1966.  It was sold as Kyle RR 1111 and scrapped in 1994.

1113, SW8, Class ES408-2, was built in March 1953, #17335, FN 4180-5, as 4608, Class DF-302.  It was reclassified Class DS-602 and renumbered 1113, Class ES408-2, in 1966.  It was sold as Yreka Western 20 and scrapped in 2011.

1115, SW8, Class ES408-2, was built in March 1953, #17337, FN 4180-7, as 4610, Class DF-302.  It was reclassified Class DS-602 and renumbered 1115, Class ES408-2, in 1966.  It was sold as YW 21.

1117, SW8, Class ES408-3, was built in June 1953, #18347, FN 4179-1, as 4612, Class DF- 303.  It was reclassified Class DS-603 and renumbered 1117, Class ES408-3, in 1966.  It was sold to Precision National Corp as PNCX 1117 and sold as Indiana Rail Road 1117.

1118, SW8, Class ES408-3, was built in June 1953, #18348, FN 4179-2, as 4613, Class DF-303.  It was reclassified Class DS-603 and renumbered 1118, Class ES408-3, in 1966.  It was sold for parts to San Diego & Arizona Eastern in 1983.

1119, SW8, Class ES408-3, was built in June 1953, #18349, FN 4179-3, as 4614, Class DF-303.  It was reclassified Class DS-603 and renumbered 1119, Class ES408-3, in 1966.  It was sold as PNCX 1119 and sold as Scullin Steel Co 7.

1122, SW8, Class ES408-3, was built in June 1953, #18352, FN 4179-6, as 4617, Class DF-303. It was reclassified Class DS-603 and renumbered 1122, Class ES408-3 in 1966, In 1978 it was sold to Cedar Rapids & Iowa City as 96. It later was sold to East Dubuque Sand & Gravel Co as 96 and later as IEI Barge Services as 96.

1124, SW8, Class ES408-3, was built in July 1953, #18354,  FN 4179-8, as 4619, Class DF-303.  It was reclassified Class DS-603 in 1963 and renumbered 1124, Class ES408-3, in 1966,  It was sold to Steel Co of Canada as Stelco 5454 and sold to Larry's Truck Equipment as LTEX 802.

1126, SW8, Class ES408-3, was built in July 1953, #18356, FN 4179-10, as 4621, Class DF-303.  It was reclassified Class DS-603 in 1963 and renumbered 1126, Class ES408-3, in 1966.  It was sold as San Diego & Arizona Eastern 1126 and later transferred as Kyle 1126.  It was later renumbered 1101.

1127, SW8, Class ES408-4, was built in January 1954, #19495, FN 4246-1, as 4622, Class DS-304.  It was reclassified Class DS-604 in 1963 and renumbered 1127, Class ES408-4, in 1965.    It was sold as LINC 81 in 1984 and sold as EPTC 802 in 1996.  It in the progress of rebuilding and renumbering as OPRR 1127.

1128, SW8,Class ES408-4,  was built in January 1954, #19496, FN 4246-2, as 4623, Class DF-304.  It was reclassified as Class DS-604 in 1963 and renumbered as 1128, Class ES408-4, in 1966.  It was then sold to U S Steel Corp as 42 and later became Geneva Steel as 42 in 1987.
