Electro-Motive SW1200 Diesels

1100 was built in January 1963, #27868, FN 7631-1.  It was retired on January 31, 1985, and sold to Precision National Corp on April 11, 1985.  It was sold as Florida Portland Cement 020 in 1987.

1105 was built in January 1963, #27873, FN 7631-6.  It was sold as Sheffield Steel Corp SS3 and renumbered 6403.  It was sold to LRS Companies.

1106 was built in January 1963, #27874, FN 7631-7.  It was sold to Precision National Corp on July 24, 1985, and sold to D A Wilson RR in August 1986.  It was sold as United States Steel Co 1106 in April 1987 but it was not delivered.  It was sold to Consolidated Paper Co 1 in September 1993 and became Stora Enso 1 in 2000.  It was rebuilt by Relco in 2007 and became New Page Paper 1 in 2007.

1107 was built in January 1963, #27875, FN 7631-8.  It was retired on February 26, 1985, and sold to Precision National Corp on April 11, 1985,  It was sold to Helm Leasing Corp as HLCX 1107 and sold as  Wisconsin Central Ltd 1230 in 1987.  It was sold as Charter Steel Div 1230 in 1992.

1110 was built in February 1963, #27878, FN 7631-11.  It was sold to Precision National Corp on July 24, 1985, and sold to D A Wilson RR in August 1986.  It was sold as USSX 1110 in April 1987 but it was not delivered.  It was sold to Cando Contracting Co as CCGX 1110.

1112 was built in February 1963, #27880, FN 7631-13.  It was sold to Precision National Corp on April 11, 1985,

1113 was built in February 1963, #27881, FN 7631-14.  It was sold as Lyondell Corp 99 and resold as David J Joseph Co 99.  It was sold as Chaparral Steel Co L409-3.

1130 was built in February 1964, #28751, FN 7693-5.  It was sold as USSC 1130 and resold as Brownsville & Rio Grande International Ry 1130.

1145 was built in April 1966, #31219, FN 7859-4.  It was sold as Shore Fast Line RR 1145 and later became Southern RR of New Jersey 1145 in 1991,  It was later sold as BRG 1145.

1146 was built in April 1966, #31220, FN 7859-5.  It was sold to Chrome Locomotive Co and sold as Cedar Rapids & Iowa City 99.

1153 was built in March 1965, #29791, FN 7766-2.  It was retired in June 1985 and sold as Shell Oil Co 27804 on June 12, 1985.

1154 was built in March 1965, #29792, FN 7766-3.  It was sold as Rail Switching Service 903 and renumbered 900.

1165 was built in April 1965, #29803, FN 7766-14.  It was sold to Dow Chemical Co as 1004 for service at Freeport, TX.  It was moved to Palqueminr, LA, and later moved to Port Saskaskatchewan, ONT, and renumbered 1007.  It was then transferred to Sarnia, ONT.

1166 was built in April 1965, #29804, FN 7766-15. It was retired in February 28, 1985, and sold to Precision National on April 11, 1985.

1187 was built in March 1964, #28763, FN 7701-10.  It was sold as Granite City Steel Corp 1187.

1195 was built in March 1963, #27863, FN 7638-6. It was retired and sold to Precision National on June 13, 1985. It was then sold to Wheeling-Pittsburgh Steel as 1265 in 1986.

1260 was built in June 1954, #19530, FN 4278-1, as Bauxite & Northern RR 11.  It was sold as MP 1260 and sold to Precision National Corp on June 14, 1985.  It was sold as Columbia Terminal RR 1 in June 1987.

1261 was built in October 1955, #20702, FN 4318-1, as Rockdale Sandow & Southern RR 8.  It was sold as MP 1261 in 1964 and retired on February 28, 1985.  It was sold to Precision National Corp on April 11, 1985 and sold to Commonwealth Edison in June 1987.  It was rebuilt at Creve Coeur as Midwest Generation SC15 "Sylvia".

 

1262 was built in October 1955, #20703, FN 4318-2, as RSS 9.  It became Port Comfort & Northern 4 and sold as MP 1262 in 1964.  It was sold as United States Navy 65-00637 and sold as Richmond Pacific RR 4449.  It was renumbered 49 in 2012.

1268 was built in February 1965, #29783, FN 4473-4.  It became Terre Haute Brazil & Eastern 100 in June 1985 and later Chicago Rail Link 52.  It was later sold as Parr Terminal RR 52 and renumbered 1268.  It was renumbered 68 in 2013.

1278 was built in February 1966, #31236, FN 4492-10, as Texas & Pacific 1278. It became MP 1278 in October 1976 and was sold to Precision National on June 24, 1985. They sold it to National Ry Equipment Co in December 1985, and it was sold to Wisconsin Central Ltd as 1278 in October 1987.  It was renumbered 1232.  It was sold to Larry's Truck Equipment as LTEX 1232.

1286 was built in March 1966, #31116, FN 4491-7, as T&P 1286. It became MP 1286 in October 1976 and it was retired on February 28, 1985. It was sold to Precision National on April 11, 1985, and sold to Peaker Services in April 1985.

1287 was built in March 1966, #31117, FN 4491-8, as T&P 1287.  It became MP 1287 in October 1976 and retired on February 28, 1985.  It was sold to Precision National as PNC 1287 on April 11, 1985, and sold as North Carolina Port Ry 1204.  It was resold as Wilmington Terminal Ry 1204.

1288 was built in March 1966, #31118, FN 4491-9, as T&P 1288.  It became MP 1288 in October 1976 and retired on February 28, 1985.  It was sold to Precision National on April 11, 1985, and scrapped.

1289 was built in March 1966, #31119, FN 4491-10, as T&P 1289.  It became MP 1289 in October 1976 and it was retired on February 28, 1985. It was sold to Precision National on April 11, 1985.

1291 was built in March 1966, #31239, FN 4491-12, as T&P 1291. It became MP 1291 in October 1976 and it was retired and sold to Chrome on June 14, 1985. It was sold to Cedar Rapids & Iowa City 97 in August 1986.

1295, SW1200, was built in March 1966, #31243,  FN 4491-16, as T&P 1295.  It became MP 1295 in October 1976 and retired and sold to Chrome on June 15, 1985.  It was sold as DuPont (Gibbstown, NJ) 1295 in August 1986 and sold as Hall Buck Marine 1295 in April 1997.  It became Kinder Morgan Bulk Terminal 1295.

1297 was built in March 1966, #31245, FN 4491-18, as T&P 1297.  It became MP 1297 in October 1976 and retired on February 28, 1985.  It sold to Precision National in April 11, 1985, and sold as Peaker Services P2 in July 1985.  It was leased as Great Lake Steel Co 55 and became National Steel Corp 55.  It was sold to National Railway Equipment Co and rebuilt as United States Navy 65-00365, 1GS7B, in May 2012.

1299 was built in March 1966, #31247, FN 4491-20, as T&P 1299.  It became MP 1299 in October 1975 and sold to Chrome on June 14, 1985.  It was leased as Iowa Interstate RR 250 in May 1987.
