8441, SD40u, Class SD40-2, was built in October 1971, #37920, as Union Pacific 3114. It was retired on July 17, 1989, and sold to Morrison Knudsen On December 7, 1989. It was rebuit in Boise as June 2, 1990, as CSX 8441, Class SD40-2.

8466, SD40u, Class SD40-2. was built in February 1969, #34522, as Missouri Pacific 752. It renumbered 3052 in March 1974 and returned in U S Leasing Corp in June 1984. It was later sold to Paducah & Louisville as 3052 and then VMV Enterprises as 3052. It was then rebuilt by Morrison Knudsen in August 1990 as CSX 8466, Class SD40-2, on August 17, 1990.
