5025, Class FL-9, was built in October 11957, #21971, as New York New Haven & Hartford 4025, Class EDER-5. It became Penn Central 5026, Class EP-18E, in 1969, and Conrail 5025, Class FL-9, in April 1976. It later became Amtrak 241 and later renumbered 490. It was sold to Naporano Iron & Metal for scrap.

5040, Class FL-9, was built by Electro-Motive in November 1960, #21986, as NYNH&H 2040, Class EDER-5A. It became Penn Central 5040, Class EP-18E, in 1969, and Conrail 5040, Class FL-9, in April 1976. It later became Metro-North Central 5040 and was later rebuilt as 520. It was again rebuilt as 2013.
