Electro-Motive GP40-2 Diesels

(1302), Class GP40-2, was built in February 1978, #776071-4, FN 776071-4, as Southern Pacific 7611, Class EF430-1.  It was assigned to UP as 5202, Class GP40-2, in September 1997 and reassigned as 1302 in December 1999 but retired on August 6, 2002.  It was returned to General Electric and sold as Indiana Harbor Belt 7611 in 2003.  It was renumbered 4015.

(1304), Class GP40-2, was built in March 1978, #776071-8, FN 776071-8, as SP 7615, Class EF430-1.  It was assigned to UP as 5204, Class GP40-2, in September 1997 and reassigned as 1304 in December 1999 but retired on August 6, 2002.  It was returned to General Electric and sold as IHB 7615 in 2003.  It was renumbered 4018.

(1320), Class GP40-2, was built in October 1984, #847046-3, FN 847043-3, as St Louis South-Western 7250, Class EF430W-4.  It was assigned to Union Pacific  as 5220 in March 1997 and later assigned 1320 in December 1999.  It was returned to National Railway Equipment Co on April 7, 2000, as NREX  7250.  It was rebuilt as Fort Worth & Western 2009 "Chisholm Trail".

(1321), Class GP40-2 was built in October 1984, #847065-4, FN 847046-4, as SSW 7251, Class EF430-4.  It was assigned to UP as 5221 in March 1997 and later assigned 1321 in December 1999.  It was returned to National Railway Equipment Co on April 7, 2000, as NREX 7251.  It was sold to Iowa Chicago & Eastern as 4208 "City of Janesville" in January 2003.  It was returned to Helm Leasing as HLCX 4208 in 2012.

(1322), Class GP40-2, was built in November 1984, #847046-5, FN 847046-5, as SSW 7252, Class EF430W-4. It was assigned to UP as 5222 in March 1997 and later assigned 1322 in December 1999. It was returned to National Railway Equipment Co on April 7, 2000.  It was set up as Finova Capital 5005 but not sold.  It was then sold to ICE as 4209 in January 2003.

(1324), Class GP40-2, was built in October 1984, #847046-7, FN 847046-7, as SSW 7254, Class EF430W-4, GP40-2.  It was assigned to UP as 5224 in March 1997 and later assigned 1324 in December 1999.  It was returned to National Ry Equipment Co on April 7, 2000, and as NRE 7254.  It was sold to Paducah & Louisville and rebuilt as GP38-3 3803.

(1327), Class GP40-2, was built in October 1984, #847046-10, FN 847046-10, as SSW 7257, Class EF430W-4.  It was assigned to UP as 5227 in March 1997 and later assigned 1327 in December 1999.  It was returned to National Ry Equipment Co on April 7, 2000, and as NRE 7257.  It was sold to PAL and rebuilt as GP38-3 3805.

(1331), Class GP40-2, was built in October 1984, #847046-14, FN 847046-14, as SSW 7261, Class EF430W-4.  It was assigned to UP as 5231 in March 1997 and later assigned 1331 in December 1999.  It was returned to NRE on April 7, 2000, and as NRE 7261.  It was sold to PAL and rebuilt as GP38-3 3807.

(1334), Class GP40-2 was built in October 1984, #847046-18, FN 847046-18, as SSW 7265, Class EF430W-4..  It was assigned to UP as 5234 in March 1997 and later assigned 1334 in December 1999.  It was returned to NRE on April 7, 2000, as NRE 7265.  It was sold to PAL and rebuilt as GP38-3 3809.

(1336), Class GP40-2, was built in October 1984, #847046-21, FN 847046-21, as SSW 7268, Class EF430W-4.  It went to UP as 5236 on May 11, 1999, and assigned 1336 in December 1999.  It was sold to National Ry Equipment Co on April 7, 2000, and was sold to Iowa Chicago & Eeastern as 4204 in January 2003.

(1337), Class GP40-2, was built in October 1984, #847046-20, FN 847046-20, as SSW 7267, Class EF430W-4.  It was assigned to UP as 5237 in March 1997 and later assigned 1337 in December 1999.  It was returned to NRE on April 7, 2000, and as NRE 7267.  It was sold to PAL and rebuilt as GP38-3 3801.

1342, Class GP40-2, was built in September 1974, #74635-1, FN 74635-1, as Denver & Rio Grande Western 3116, Class EF430D-7.  It became UP 1342 on April 1, 2004.

1344, Class GP40-2, was built in September 1974, #74635-6, FN 74635-6, as D&RGW 3121, Class EF430D-7.  It became UP 1344 on December 17, 2005.

(1345), Class GP40-2, was built in September 1974, #74635-7, FN 74635-7, as D&RGW 3122, Class EF430D-7.  It became UP 5245 on May 24, 1997. and assigned 1345 but never completed.

1345, Class GP40-2, was built in September 1974, #74635-9, FN 74635-9, as D&RGW 3124, Class EF430D-7.  It became UP 5247 on December 16, 1997, and renumbered 1345 on October 5, 2007.

1346, Class GP40-2, was built in September 1974, #74635-8, FN 74635-8, as D&RGW 3123, Class EF430D-7.  It became UP 1346 on August 11, 2001.

1347, Class GP40-2, was built in December 1972, #72715-5, FN 72715-5, as D&RGW 3110, Class EF430D-6.  It became UP 1347 on June 11, 2006.

1349, Class GP40-2, was built in November 1974, #74735-1, FN 74735-1, as D&RGW 3128, Class EF430D-7.  It became UP 1349 on May 16, 2005.

1350, Class GP40-2, was built in April 1972, #7360-7, FN 7360-7, as D&RGW 3100, Class EF430D-6.  It became UP 1350 on January 31, 2006.

1352, Class GP40-2, was built in April 1972, #7360-4, FN 7360-4, as D&RGW 3097, Class EF430D-6.  It became UP 1352 on July 30, 2005.

1353 was built in April 1972, #7360-1, FN 7360-1, as D&RGW 3094, Class EF430D-6.  It became Union Pacific 1353 on May 19, 2003.

1355 was built in April 1972, #7360-12, FN 7360-12, as D&RGW 3104, Class EF430D-6.  It became UP 1355 in September 1, 2001.

1356 was built in April 1972, #7360-10, FN 7360-10, as D&RGW 3103, Class EF430D-6.  It became UP 1356 on January 19, 2005.

1357 was built in April 1972, #7360-9, FN 7360-9, as D&RGW 3102, Class EF430D-6.  It became UP 5256 on June 3, 1997, and renumbered 1357 on March 30, 2003.

1359 was built in September 1974, #74635-3, FN 74635-3, FN 74635-3, as D&RGW 3118, Class EF430-7.  It became UP 1359 on September 15, 2005.

1360 was built in December 1972, #72715-1, as D&RGW 3106, Class EF430D-6.  It became UP 5260 on August 7, 1997, and renumbered 1360 on August 26, 2002.

1361 was built in December 1972, #72715-2, as D&RGW 3107, Class EF430D-6.  It became UP 5261 on October 14, 2000, and renumbered 1361 on August 9, 2002.

1362 was built in December 1972, #72715-7. as D&RGW 3112, Class EF430D-6.  It became UP 5262 on January 14, 1998 and renumbered 1362 on April 11, 2002.

1420, Class GP40-2, was built in March 1980, #786266-12, as Southern Pacific 7669, Class EF430-3.  It became UP 1420 on February 15, 2002.

1424, Class GP40-2, was built in May 1980, #786266-16, as SP 7673, Class EF430-1.  It became UP 5324 on July 31, 1997, and renumbered 1424 on May 30, 2003.

1445, Class GP40-2, was built in March 1983, #827038-1, FN 827038-1, as D&RGW 3129, Class EF430D-8.  It became UP 1445 on November 1, 2005.

1446, Class GP40-2, was built in March 1983,  #827038-2, FN 827038-2, as D&RGW 3130, Class EF430D-8.  It became UP 1446 on March 5, 2003.

1447, Class GP40-2, was built in April 1972, #7360-3, FN 7360-3, as D&RGW 3095, Class EF430D-6.  It became UP 5347 on May 12, 1997, and renumbered 1447 on July 11, 2005.

1448, Class GP40-2, was built in April 1972, #7360-8, FN 7360-8, as D&RGW 3101, Class EF430D-6.  It became UP 1448 on November 9, 2004.

1461, Class GP40-2, was built in April 1980, #786277-2, FN 786277-2, as Western Pacific 3551.  It became UP 906 on June 1, 1984, and renumbered 1461 on January 4, 2000.  It was assigned 9994 in August 2001.

1470, Class GP40-2, was built in January 1979, #786179-28, FN 786179-28, as SSW 7655, Class EF430C-2.  It was assigned to UP as 5308 in March 1997 and assigned as 1408 in December 1999.  It became UP 1470, Class GP40-2, on July 25, 2012.

1535, Class GP40-2, was built in July 1979, #786220-1, FN 786220-1, as WP 3545. It became UP 900 on May 26, 1985, and then Missouri Pacific 900 on June 11, 1985. It was back to UP 900 on June 24, 1987, and then renumbered 3002 on December 20, 1990. It was renumbered February 19, 2002, as 1535.

1536 was built in July 1979, #786220-2, as WP 3546,  It became UP 901 on December 22, 1983, and then MP 901 on November 27, 1984.  It was back to UP 901 on November 19, 1988, and then renumbered 3003 on January 2, 1991.  It was renumbered 1536 on February 20, 2002.

1538 was built in July 1979, #786220-4, as WP 3548.  It became UP 903 on February 7, 1984, and renumbered 3005 on December 6, 1990.  It was renumbered 1538 on April 29, 2001.

1539 was built in July 1979, #786220-5, as WP 3549. It became MP 904 in October 11, 1985, and then UP 904 on June 17, 1988. It was renumbered 3006 on December 5, 1990, and then to 1539 on March 17, 2001.

9988 was built in April 1980, #786277-4, FN 786277-5, as WP 3553.  It became UP 908 on April 24, 1984, and renumbered 9988 on January 18, 2003,
