8632, Class SW-900, was built in December 1956, #20936, as New York Central 9632. It was renumbered as 8632, Class ES-8, in 1966 and then became Penn Central 8632, Class ES-8. It became Conrail 8632, Class SW-900, in April 1976. It was later sold to ConAgra Inc as 001.

8657, Class SW-900, was built in September 1938, #831, as Lehigh Valley 130, a NW1, Class BB-5. It was reclassified Class DS-5 and rebuilt by Electro-Motive in May 1957, #23538. It was later reclassified Class ESM-9 and then became Conrail 8657, Class SW-900. It was sold to Pecos Valley Southern as 9.
