Electro-Motive GP40 Diesels
3051, Class EF430D-1, was built in January 1966, #30995, as Class DE B-B
65. It was reclassified as EF430D-1,
and retired on March 26, 1997. It was
sold to Helm Leasing on May 29, 1998, and rebuilt by Boise on October 9, 1998,
as Union Pacific 2574, a GP38-3. It was later assigned as 1074.
3145, Class EF430D-3, was built in September 1968, #34334, as Penn Central 3157, Class EF-30. It became Consolidated Railroad Corp 3157, Class GP-40, in April
1976 and was sold to D&RGW as 3157 on November 1, 1983. It was renumbered
3145, Class EF430D-3, on June 20, 1984. It was retired in December 1992 and
sold to Omnitrax. It was sold to Eastern Idaho RR
as 3145 in November 1944 and then rebuilt as a GP40-3 by National Railway
Equipment Co in 1999 as Florida East Coast
