Electro-Motive GP30 Diesels

4086, Class GP-30, was built in June 1963, #28345, FN 7658-1, as Chicago & Eastern Illinois 239.  It was renumbered 590 in 1967 and became Louisville & Nashville 1058, Class GP-30, in 1969.  It became Seaboard System 1389 in January 1983 and renumbered 4086 in 1984.  It became CSX 4086, Class GP-30, in April 1986 and sold to Morrison Knudsen.  It was rebuilt as Burlington Northern 2810, Class GP-39M, on April 2, 1989, and became Burlington Northern Santa Fe 2810, Class GP-39M, in November 1999.

4097, Class GP-30, was built in December 1962, #27589. FN 7627-6, as Chesapeake & Ohio 3007, Class MRSE-30.  It was reclassified Class GP-30 in 1964.  It was renumbered 4097 in 1986 and then became CSX 4097, Class GP-30, in 1987.  It was rebuilt by Morrison Knudsen on February 1, 1991, as 2320, a Class Road Slug.

4102, Class GP-30, was built in September 1963, #28508, FN 7663-17, as C&O 3032, Class MRSE-30.  It was reclassified Class GP-30 in 1964.  It was renumbered 4102 in 1986 and became CSX 4102, Class GP-30, in 1987.  It was rebuilt by Morrison Knudsen on October 19, 1990, as 2287, Class Road Slug.

4108, Class GP-30, was built in October 1962, #27620, FN 7628-4, as Baltimore & Ohio 6903, Class FSE-5.  It was reclassified Class GP-30 in 1964.  It was renumbered 4108 in 1986 and then became CSX 4108, Class GP-30, in 1987.  It was retired on April 18, 1989, and rebuilt by Precision National Corp on August 28, 1989, as 2241, Class Road Slug S5-1BDE.

4109, Class GP-30, was built in October 1962, #27622, FN 7628-6, as B&O 6905, Class FSE-5.  It was reclassified Class GP-30 in 1964.  It was renumbered 4109 in 1986  and then became CSX 4109, Class GP-30, in 1987.  It was retired on August 23, 1989, and rebuilt by Precision National Corp on October 9, 1989, as 2273, a slug.

4110, Class GP-30, was built in October 1962, #27623, FN 7628-7, as B&O 6906, Class FSE-5  It was reclassified Class GP-30 in 1964.  It was renumbered 4110 in 1986 and then became CSX 4110, Class GP-30, in 1987.  It was retired August 23, 1989.  It was rebuilt by Morrison Knudsen on October 29, 1990, as 2289, as Class Road Slug S5-1BDE.

4115, Class GP-30, was built in October 1962, #27630, FN 7628-14, as B&O 6913, Class FSE-5.  It was reclassified Class GP-30 in 1964.  It was renumbered 4115 in 1986 and then CSX 4115, Class GP-30, in 1987.  It was retired on February 14, 1989, and rebuilt by Precision National as 2246 on June 21, 1989,

4119, Class GP-30, was built in November 1962, #27643, FN 7628-27, as B&O 6926, Class FSE-5.  It was reclassified Class GP-30 in 1964.  It was renumbered 4119 in 1986 and then became CSX 4119, Class GP-30, in 1987.  It was rebuilt by Morrison-Knudsen in September 1990 as 2280, Class Road Slug.

4123, Class GP-30, was built in November 1962, #27653, FN 7631-9, as B&O 6936, Class FSE-5.  It was reclassified Class GP-30 in 1964.  It was renumbered 4123 in 1986  and then became CSX 4123, Class GP-30 in 1987.  It was rebuilt by Morrison Knudsen on November 2, 1990, as 2292, Class Road Slug.

4132, Class GP-30, was built in December 1962, #27681, FN 7631-37, as B&O 6964, Class FSE-5.  It was reclassified Class GP-30 in 1964 and later renumbered 4132 in 1986.  It became CSX 4132, Class GP-30, in 1987 and rebuilt by Morrison Knudsen on December 14, 1990, as 2308, Class Road Slug.

4134, Class GP-30, was built in December 1962, #27684, FN 7631-40, as B&O 6967, Class FSE-5, GP30.  It was reclassified Class GP-30 in 1964 and renumbered 4134 in 1986.  It became CSX 4134, Class GP-30, in 1987 and rebuilt by Morrison Knudsen on October 12, 1990, as 2285, Class Road Slug.

4136, Class GP-30, was built in December 1962, #27685, FN 7361-41, as B&O 6968, Class FSE-5.  It was reclassified Class GP-30 in 1964 and later renumbered 4136 in 1986.  It became CSX 4136, Class GP-30, in 1987 and sold to Steel Processing Corp in June 1988.  It was rebuilt by Precision National Corp as CSX 2201, Class Road Slug, on December 15, 1988.

4200, Class GP-30M, was built in December 1962, #27798, FN 7632-1, as C&O 3000, Class MRSE-30.  It was reclassified as Class GP-30 in 1964 and rebuilt later as Class GP-30M.  It was renumbered 4200 in 1986 and then became CSX 4200, Class GP-30M, in 1987.   It was sold as Alabama & Gulf Coast RR 2179 and sold to Conrad Yelvington Distributors as CYDZ 0304 in 2004..

4203, Class GP-30M, was built in December 1962, #27586, FN 7627-3, as C&O 3004, Class MRSE-30.  It was reclassified Class GP-30 in 1964 and rebuilt as Class GP-3M.  It was renumbered 4203 in 1986 and became CSX 4203, Class GP-30M, in 1987.  It was sold as Eastern Idaho RR 4203 in 1998.

4206, Class GP-30M, was built in January 1963, #72591, FN 7627-8, as C&O 3009.  It was reclassified as Class GP-30 in 1964 and rebuilt later as Class GP-30M.  It was renumbered 4206 in 1986 and then became CSX 4206, Class GP-30M, in 1987.  It was rebuilt as 9600, Class MOW.

4209, Class GP-30M, was built in January 1963, #27596, FN 7627-13, as C&O 3014, Class MRSE-30.  It was reclassified as Class GP-30 in 1964 and rebuilt later as Class GP-30M.  It was renumbered 4209 in 1986 and then became CSX 4209, Class GP-30M, in 1987.

4211, Class GP-30M, was built in August 1963, #28410, FN 7663-1, as C&O 3016, Class MRSE-30.  It was reclassified as Class GP-30 in 1964 and rebuilt later as Class GP-30M.  It was renumbered 4211 in 1986 and then became CSX 4211, Class GP-30M, in 1987.

4212, Class GP-30M, was built in August 1963, #28411, FN 7663-2, as C&O 3017, Class MRSE-30.  It was reclassified as Class GP-30 in 1964 and rebuilt as Class GP-30M.  It was renumbered 4212 in 1986  and became CSX 4212, Class GP-30, in 1987.  It was sold as Palouse River & Coulee City RR 4212 in 1996 and became Watco 3022.  It was renumbered 3021.

4213, Class GP30M, was built in August 1963, #28494, FN 7663-3, as C&O 3018, Class MRSE-30.  It was reclassified as Class GP-30 in 1964 and rebuilt as Class GP-30M.  It was renumbered 4213 in 1986 and became CSX 4213, Class GP-30M, in 1987.

4215, Class GP-30M, was built in August 1963, #28496, FN 7663-5, as C&O 3020, Class MRSE-30.  It was reclassified as Class GP-30 in 1964 and rebuilt later as Class GP-30M.  It was renumbered 4215 in 1986 and then became CSX 4215, Class GP-30M, in 1987.  It was later sold to Ogeechee RR as 4215.

4217, Class GP-30M, was built in September 1963, #28499, FN 7663-8, as C&O 3023, Class MRSE-30. It was reclassified as Class GP-30 in 1964 and rebuilt later as Class GP-30M. It was renumbered 4217 in 1986 and then became CSX 4217, Class GP-30M, 1987. It was sold to Ohio Central as 4217 and later resold to Arizona & California as 3002 in 1998.

4218, Class GP-30M, was built in September 1963, #28500, FN 7663-9, as C&O 3024, Class MRSE-30.  It was reclassified as Class GP-30 in 1964 and rebuilt later as Class GP-30M.  It was renumbered 4218 in 1986 and then became CSX 4218, Class GP-30M, in 1987.  It was sold to OHCR as 4218.

4220, Class GP-30M, was built in September 1963, #28502, FN 7663-11, as C&O 3026, Class MRSE-30.  It was reclassified as Class GP-30 in 1964 and rebuilt later as Class GP-30M.  It was renumbered 4220 in 1986 and then became CSX 4220, Class GP-30M, in 1987.  It was sold to OHCR as 4220 and later sold to ACZR as 3003 in 1998.  It was sold as Fillmore & Western Ry 3003 and resold as Bountiful Grain & Craig Mountain RR 3003.

4221, Class GP-30M, was built in September 1963, #28503, FN 7663-12, as C&O 3027.  It was reclassified as Class GP-30 in 1964 and rebuilt later as Class GP-30M.  It was renumbered 4221 in 1986 and then became CSX 4221, Class GP-30M, in 1987.  It was sold to Transdynamic Leasing Co as 4221 in 1997 and then to OHCR as 4221 in 2000.  It was sold as CSX 2376, Class Road Slug, in 2008.  It was not completed and retired on June 8, 2009.  It was scrapped in July 2011.

4222, Class GP-30M, was built in September 1963, #28504, FN 7663-13, as C&O 3028, Class MRSE-30.  It was reclassified as Class GP-30 in 1964 and rebuilt later as Class GP-30M.  It was renumbered 4222 in 1986 and then became CSX 4222, Class GP-30M, in 1987.

4223, Class GP-30M, was built in September 1963, #28505, FN 7663-14, as C&O 3029, Class MRSE-30.  It was reclassified as Class GP-30 in 1964 and rebuilt later as Class GP-30M.  It was renumbered 4223 in 1986 and then became CSX 4223, Class GP-30M, in 1987.  It was sold to Alabama RR as 2180 and later Alabama & Gulf Coast 2180.

4224, Class GP-30M, was built in September 1963, #28509, FN 7663-18, as C&O 3033, Class MRSE-30.  It was reclassified as Class GP-30 in 1964 and rebuilt later as Class GP-30M.  It was renumbered 4224 in 1986 and then became CSX 4224, Class GP-30M, in 1987.

4225, Class MRSE-30, was built in September 1963, #28510, FN 7663-19, as C&O 3034, Class MRSE-30.  It was reclassified as Class GP-30 in 1964 and rebuilt later as Class GP-30M.  It was renumbered 4225 in 1986 and them became CSX 4225, Class GP-30M, in 1987.

4226, Class GP-30M, was built in September 1963, #28511, FN 7663-20, as C&O 3035, Class MRSE-30.  It was reclassified as Class GP-30 in 1964 and rebuilt later as Class GP-30M.  It was renumbered 4226 in 1986 and then became CSX 4226, Class GP-30M, in 1987.

4228,  Class GP-30M, was built in October 1963, #28514, FN 7663-23, as C&O 3038, Class MRSE-30.  It was reclassified as Class GP-30 in 1964 and rebuilt later as Class GP-30M.  It was renumbered 4228 in 1986 and became CSX 4233, Class GP-30M in 1987.  It was sold as AGR 2175 and resold to Conrad Yelvington Distributors as CYXX 2104.

4229, Class GP-30M, was built in October 1963, #28515, FN 7663-24, as C&O 3039, Class MRSE-30.  It was reclassified as Class GP-30 in 1964 and rebuilt as Class GP-30M.  It was renumbered 4229 in 1986 and became CSX 4229, Class GP-30.  It was sold as Palouse River & Coulee City RR 4229 in 1996 and became Watco WAMX 3525.

4231, Class GP-30M, was built in October 1963, #28519, FN 7663-28, as C&O 3043, Class MRSE-30.  It was reclassified as Class GP-30 in 1964 and rebuilt later as Class GP-30M.  It was renumbered 4231 in 1986 and then became CSX 4231, Class GP-30M, in 1987.

4233, Class GP-30M, was built in October 1963, #28522, FN 7663-31, as C&O 3046, Class MRSE-30.  It was reclassified as Class GP-30 in 1964 and rebuilt later as Class GP-30M.  It was renumbered 4233 in 1986 and then became CSX 4233, Class GP-30M, in 1987.  It was sold as Indiana & Ohio RR 87 in 1997 and sold to Railway Service Contractors Inc as MJRX 87.

4237, Class GP-30M, was built in October 1962, #27633, FN 7628-17, as B&O 6916, Class FSE-5.  It was reclassified Class GP-30 in 1964 and later rebuilt as Class GP-30M in December 1982.  It was renumbered 4237 in 1986 and then became CSX 4237, Class GP-30M, in 1987.  It was retired on January 22, 1996, and sold for scrap to Pielet Brothers on April 4, 1996.

4238, Class GP-30M, was built in October 1962, #27634, FN 7682-18, as B&O 6917, Class FSE-5.  It was reclassified Class GP-30 in 1964 and later rebuilt as Class GP-30M on May 15, 1981.  It was renumbered 4238 in 1986 and became CSX 4238, Class GP-30M, in 1987.  It was retired on October 21, 1996, and sold to Midwest Metallics on November 27, 1996.  It was sold to Kyle RR in July 1997 and transferred as Alabama & Gulf Coast  2181 in 1997.  It was sold to Conrad Yelvington Industries as CDYZ 2107.

4239, Class GP-30M, was built in October 1962, #27635, FN 7628-19, as B&O 6918, Class FSE-5.  It was reclassified Class GP-30 in 1964 and later rebuilt as Class GP-30M in October 1982. It was renumbered 4239 in 1986  and then became CSX 4239, Class GP-30M, in 1987.  It was retired on August 29, 1995, and sold to Ohio Central RR on December 7, 1995,  It became Columbus & Ohio River RR 4239 in February 1996 and then Arizona & California as 3005 in May 1996.  It was transferred in September 1997 as Puget Sound & Pacific 3005.

4241, Class GP-30M, was built in October 1962, #27640, FN 7628-24, as B&O 6923, Class FSE-5.  It was reclassified Class GP-30 in 1964 and later rebuilt as Class GP-30M in 1984,  It was renumbered 4241 in 1986 and then became CSX 4241, Class GP-30M, in 1987.  It was retired on March 2, 1995, and sold to Coastline Rail Services on July 3, 1995.   It was then sold in 1998 as Motive Power Inc.

4243, Class GP-30M, was built in October 1962, #27642, FN 7628-26, as B&O 6925, Class FSE-5.  It was reclassified Class GP-30 in 1964 and later rebuilt as Class GP-30M in July 1983.  It was renumbered 4243 in 1986 and then became CSX 4243, Class GP-30M, in 1987.  It was retired on May 5, 1995, and sold to Progress Rail Services on September 1, 1995.

4244, Class GP-30M, was built in November 1962, #27645, FN 7631-1, as B&O 6928, Class FSE-5.  It was reclassified Class GP-30 in 1964 and later rebuilt at Cumberland in August 1981 as Class GP-30M.  It was renumbered 4244 in 1987 and then became CSX 4244, Class GP-30M, in 1987.  It was retired on December 30, 1994, and sold to Pielet Bros for scrap in March 22, 1995.

4246, Class GP-30M, was built in November 1962, #27648, FN 7631-4, as B&O 6931, Class FSE-5.  It was reclassified Class GP-30 in 1964 and rebuilt in November 1982 as Class GP-30M.  It was renumbered 4246 in 1986 and then became CSX 4246, Class GP-30M, as 1987.  It was retired on December 18, 1996, and sold to Midwest Metallics on February 24, 1997.  It later was sold to Alabama & Gulf Coast as 2183 in 1997.

4248, Class GP-30M, was built in November 1962, #27650, FN 7631-6, as B&O 6933, Class FSE-5.  It was reclassified Class GP-30 in 1964 and rebuilt on April 9, 1982, as Class GP-30M.  It was renumbered 4248 and then became CSX 4248, Class GP-30M.  It was retired on December 26, 1995, and sold to Alabama & Gulf Coast as 2178 on March 6, 1996.

4252, Class GP-30M, was built in November 1962, #27658, FN 7631-14, as B&O 6941, Class FSE-5.  It was reclassified Class GP-30 in 1964 and rebuilt in October 1981 as Class GP-30M.  It was renumbered 4252 and then became CSX 4252, Class GP-30M.  It was retired on March 2, 1995, and sold to Progress Rail Services on July 5, 1995.

4253, Class GP-30M, was built in Noovember 1962, #27661, FN 7631-17, as B&O 6944, Class FSE-5.  It was reclassified Class GP-30 in 1964 and later rebuilt in 1983 as Class GP-30M.  It was renumbered 4253 and then became CSX 4253, Class GP-30M.  It was retired on February 1, 1996, and restored B&O 6944 at Baltimore in June 1996.

4255, Class GP-30M, was built in November 1962, #27667, FN 7631-23, as B&O 6950, Class FSE-5.  It was reclassified Class GP-30 in 1964 and later rebuilt on July 22, 1981, as Class GP-30M.  It was renumbered 4255 and then became CSX 4255, Class GP-30M.  It was retired on March 2, 1995, and sold to Progress Rail Services on July 5, 1995.

4256, Class GP-30M, was built in December 1962, #27668, FN 7631-24, as B&O 6951, Class FSE-5.  It was reclassified Class GP-30 in 1964 and later rebuilt in 1984 as Class GP-30M.  It was renumbered 4256 and then became CSX 4256, Class GP-30M.  It was retired on June 13, 1995 and sold to Progress Rail Services on September 1, 1995.

4258, Class GP-30M, was built in December 1962, #27670, FN 7631-26, as B&O 6953, Class FSE-5.  It was reclassifed Class GP-30 in 1964 and later rebuilt in 1983 as Class GP-30M.  It was renumbered 4258 and then became CSX 4258, Class GP-30M.  It was retired on November 30, 1995, and sold to Pielet Bros for scrap on March 1, 1996.

4259, Class GP-30M, was built in December 1962, #27671, FN 7631-27, as B&O 6954, Class FSE-5.  It was reclassified Class GP-30 in 1964 and later rebuilt in 1983 as Class GP-30M.  It was renumbered 4759 and then became CSX 4259, Class GP-30M.  It was retired November 30, 1995, and sold to Pielet Bros on March 1, 1996.  It was sold to South Kansas & Oklahoma as 4259 in 1999 and transfered to Kansas & Oklahoma RR as 4259 in May 2001.

4262, Class GP-30M, was built in December 1962, #27674, FN 7631-30, as B&O 6957, Class FSE-5.  It was reclassified Class GP-30 in 1964 and later rebuilt at Cumberland in February 1983, as Class GP-30M.  It was renumbered 4262 and then became CSX 4262, Class GP-30M.  It was retired on October 21, 1996, and sold to Midwest Metallics on December 30, 1996.  It was then sold to Alabama & Gulf Coast as 2184 in 1997.

4265, Class GP-30M, was built in January 1963, #27690, FN 7631-46, as B&O 6973, Class FSE-5. It was reclassified Class GP-30 in 1964 and later rebuilt at Cumberland in September 1982 as Class GP-30M. It was renumbered 4265 and then became CSX 4265, Class GP-30M. It was retired on December 30, 1994, and sold to Transdynamics Inc on April 5, 1995.  It was refurbished by F&L Locomotive and Car and sold to Branson Scenic RR as 4265 in January 1995 and later renumbered 99.
