B-30, RDC2, was built by Budd in January 1955, #6001.  It became Burlington Northern as B-30 in 1970 and sold to National Railway Passenger Corp as 30 in 1973.

B-42, RDC3, was built by Budd in December 1952, #5701, as Duluth Missabe & Iron Range 1. It was sold to NP as B-42 in March 1963.
