1400 was built in November 1966, #32504, as Minneapolis Northfield & Southern 36. It became Soo Line 1400 in 1986 and sold as Progress Rail Services 36 in December 2003.
1401 was built in November 1966, #32505, as MN&S 37. It became Soo Line 1401 in 1986 and sold as PRS 37 in December 2003.
