4400, Class GP40-2, was built in December 1973, #73624-2, FN 73624-2, as Reading Co 3672.  It became Consolidated Railroad Corp 3276, Class GP-40-2, in April 1976 and later became CSX 4400, Class GP40-2.

4401, Class GP40-2, was built in December 1973, #73624-3, FN 73624-3, as Reading 3673. It became Conrail 3277, Class GP40-2, in April 1976, and it later became CSX 4401, Class GP40-2.

4403, Class GP40-2, was built in May 1977, #766069-7, FN 766069-7, as Conrail 3286, Class GP40-2.  It became CSX 4403, Class GP40-2.

4404, Class GP40-2, was built in May 1977, #766069-11, FN 766069-11, as Conrail 3290, Class GP40-2.  It became CSX 4404, Class GP40-2, in 1999.

4405, Class GP40-2, was built in May 1977, #766069-14, FN 766069-14, as Conrail 3293, Class GP40-2.  It became CSX 4405, Class GP40-2, in 1999.

4449, Class GP40-2, was built in January  1980, #796339-8, FN 796339-8, as Conrail 3393, Class GP40-2.  It became CSX 4449, Class GP40-2, and rebuilt as 6984, Class GP40-2, in 2007.

4452, Class GP40-2, was built in February 1980, #796336-18, FN 796336, as Conrail 3403, Class GP40-2.  It became CSX 4452, Class GP40-2.

6000, Class GP40-2, was built in December 1971, #39236, FN 7340-81, as Chesapeake & Ohio 4090, Class GP-40.  It was renumbered 6845, Class GP-40,  and became CSX 6845, Class GP-40.  It was rebuilt as 6000, Class GP40-2.

6006, Class GP40-2, was built in August 1972, #7365-7, FN 7365-7, as Baltimore & Ohio 4106, Class GP40-2.  It was renumbered 6006 and became CSX 6006, Class GP40-2, in 1987.

6008, Class GP40-2 was built in August 1973, #7365-9, FN 7365-9, as B&O 4108, Class GP40-2.  It was renumbered 6008 and became CSX 6008, Class GP40-2, in 1987.  It was rebuilt as Class GP38-2.

6009, Class GP40-2, was built in August 1972, #7365-10, FN 7365-10, as B&O 4109, Class GP40-2.  It was temporarily numbered 9109 during March 1980,  It was renumbered 6009 and became CSX 6009, Class GP40-2, in 1987.

6012, Class GP40-2, was built in September 1972, #7365-13, FN 7365-13, as B&O 4112, Class GP40-2.  It was renumbered 6012 and became CSX 6012, Class GP40-2, in 1987.

6017, Class GP40-2, was built in September 1972, #7365-20, FN 7365-20, as B&O 4117, Class GP40-2.  It was temporarily numbered 9117 during March 1980.  It was renumbered 6017 and became CSX 6017, Class GP40-2, in 1987.

6298, Class GP40-2, was built in February 1980, #787289-9, FN 787289-9, as C&O 4400, Class GP40-2.  It was renumbered 6298 and became CSX 6298, Class GP40-2.  It was renumbered 6905 in 1991.

6318, Class GP40-2, was built in March 1980, #787289-27, FN 787289-27, as C&O 4418, Class GP40-2.  It was renumbered 6318 in 1986 and became CSX 6318, Class GP40-2, in 1987.  It was renumbered 6921, Class GP40-2.

6341, Class GP40-2, was built in June 1981, #807014-26, FN 807014-26, as B&O 4447, Class GP40-2.  It was named "Arch McElvany" in 1985 and assigned CSX 6345 but the number was retained until August 1994.  It was renumbered CSX 6341, Class GP40-2, and earmarked for the B&O Railroad Museum.

6390, Class GP40-2, was built in December 1972, #5814-2, FN 5812-2. as Georgia RR 756.  It became Seaboard System 6644 and later renumbered 6390.  It later became CSX 6390, Class GP40-2.

6393, Class GP40-2, was built in June, 1972, #72702-1, FN 72702-1, as Richmond Fredericksburg & Potomac 141   It became CSX 6393, Class GP40-2, in 1991.

6394, Class GP40-2, was built in June 1972, #72702-2, FN 72702-2, as RF&P 142.  It became CSX 6394, Class GP40-2, in 1991.

6905, Class GP40-2, was built in February 1980, #787289-9, FN 787289-9, as C&O 4400, Class GP40-2.  It was renumbered 6298 and became CSX 6249, Class GP40-2.  It was renumbered 6905 in 1991.

6953, Class GP40-2, was built in March 1979, #786191-13, FN 786191-13, as Conrail 3358, Class GP40-2.  It became CSX 4433, Class GP40-2, and rebuilt as 6953, Class GP40-2, in 2008.

6979, Class GP40-2, was built in March 1979, #786191-9, FN 786191-9, as Conrail 3354, Class GP40-2.  It became CSX 4430, Class GP40-2, and rebuilt as 6979, Class GP40-2.
