General Electric U30B Diesels

 

5470, Class U30B, was built in October 1966, #36106, as Chicago Burlington & Quincy 140, U28B.  It was rebuilt by General Electric in 1968 as U30B and became BN 5470, Class U30B, in 1970 and wrecked in March 1984.  It was scrapped by Phil Smith Salvage Co in March 1984.

5471, Class U30B, was built in October 1966, #36107, as CB&Q 141, U28B.  It was rebuilt by General Electric in 1968 as U30B and became BN 5471, Class U30B, in 1970.  It was retired in July 1986 and sold for scrap to St Louis Auto Shredding Co in March 1987.

5472, Class U30B, was built in October 1966, #36108, as CB&Q 142, U28B.  It was rebuilt by General Electric in 1968 as U30B and became BN 5472, Class U30B, in 1970.  It was retired in December 1986 and sold to Chrome Locomotive Co in April 1987.

5473, Class U30B, was built in October 1966, #36109, as CB&Q 143, U28B.  It was rebuilt by General Electric in 1968 as U30B and became BN 5473, Class U30B, in 1970.  It was retired in August 1986 and sold for scrap to St Louis Auto Shredding Co in March 1987.

5475, Class U30B, was built in November 1966, #36111, as CB&Q 145, U28B.  It was rebuilt by General Electric in 1968 as U30B and became BN 5475, Class U30B, in 1970.  It was retired in August 1986 and sold for scrap to St Louis Auto Shredding Co in March 1987.
