Electro-Motive F Units

1648, F7A, Class F-7A, was built in July 1949, #7154, FN E1041-A2 as New York Central 1648, Class DFA-2d.  It was reclassified Class EF-15a in 1966 and became Penn Central 1648, Class EF-15a, in 1968.  It became Conrail 1648, Class F-7A, in April 1976 and renumbered 1792.

1656, F7A, Class F-7A, was built in July 1949, #7162, FN E1041-A10, as NYC 1656, Class DFA-2d.  It was reclassified Class EF-15a in 1966 and became PC 1656, Class EF-15a, in 1968.  It became Conrail 1656, Class F-7A, in April 1976 and retired in 1977.

1707, F7A, Class F-7A was built in June 1951, #10005, FN 3012-A6, as NYC 1707, Class DFA-2g. It was reclassified EF-15a in 1966 and became PC 1707, Class EF-15a, in 1968. In April 1976 it became Conrail 1707, Class F-7a.

1725, F7A, Class F-7A, was built in March 1952, #15336, FN 3082-A15, as NYC 1725, Class DFA-2g.  It was reclassified Class EF-15a in1966 anjd became PC 1725, Class EF-15a, in 1968.  In 1976 it became Conrail 1725, Class F-7A.  It was retired.

1730, F7A, Class F-7A, was built in March 1952, #15341, FN 3052-A20, as NYC 1730, Class DFA-2g.  It was reclassified Class EF-15a in 1966 and became PC 1730, Class EF-15a, in 1968.  In April 1976 it became Conrail 1730, Class F-7A.

1748, F7A, Class F-7A, was built in March 1952, #15359, FN 3052-A38, as NYC 1748, Class DFA-2g.  It was reclassified Class EF-15a in 1966 and became PC 1748, Class EF-15a, in 1968.  In April 1976 it became Conrail 1748, Class F-7a.

1750, F7A, Class F-7A, was built in March 1952, #15361, FN 3052-A40, as NYC 1750, Class DFA-2g.  It was reclassified Class EF-15a in 1966 and became PC 1750, Class EF-15a, in 1968,  In April 1976 it became Conrail 1750, Class F-7a.

1774, F7A, Class F-7A, was built in June 1952, #15385, FN 3082-A64, as NYC 1774, Class DFA-2g.  It was reclassified Class EF-15a in 1966 and became PC 1774, Class EF-15a, in 1968.  It April 1976 it became Conrail 1774, Class F-7a.

1847, F7A, Class F-7A, was built in September 1952, #16225, FN 3124-A6, as NYC 1847, Class DFA-2h.  It was reclassified Class EF-15a in 1966 and became PC 1847, Class EF-15a, in 1968.  In April 1976 it became Conrail 1846, Class F-7a.

1866, F7A, Class F-7A, was built in October 1952, #16244, FN 3124-A25, as NYC 1866,Class DFA-2h.  It was reclassified Class EF-15a in 1966 and became PC 1866, Class EF-15a, in 1968.  In April 1976 it became Conrail 1866, Class F-7a.

1879, F7A, Class F-7A, was built in June 1952, #16528, FN 3149-A12, as Denver & Rio Grande Western 5754, Class DE4 (B-B) 238.  It was reclassified Class DE B-B 60 in 1962 and sold as PC 754, Class EF-15a, on February 28, 1970.  It was renumbered 1879 in September 1972 and  became Conrail 1879, Class F-7A, in April 1976.  It was retired on May 24, 1978, and traded in to Electro-Motive.

1889, F7A, Class F-7A, was built in January 1950, #10112, FN 6006-A1, as Erie RR 711-A, Class FE-15a.  It became Erie Lackawanna 7111, Class FE-15AD, in 1960, It became Conrail 1889, Class F-7A, in April 1976 and scrapped by Pielet Brothers in 1977.

1891, F7A, Class F-7A, was built in December 1951, #15135, FN 6308-A1, as Erie RR 712-A, Class FE-15b.  It became EL 7121, Class FE-15AD, in 1960. It became Conrail 1891, Class F-7A, in April 1976.

1892, F7A, Class F-7A, was built in December 1951, #15136, FN 6308-A2, as Erie RR 712-D, Class FE-15b.  It became EL 7124, Class FE-15AD, in 1960. It became Conrail 1892, Class F-7A, in April 1976.

1893, F7A, Class F-7A, was built in March 1951, #13209, FN 3074-A1, as Erie RR 807-A, Class PE-15. It was renumbered 713-A, Class FE-15b, and became EL 7131, Class FE-15AD, in 1960. In April 1976 it became Conrail 1893, Class F-7A.

4372, FP7A, Class FP-7A, was built in May 1950, #11389, FN 6091-A3, as Reading 903, Class DP-1.  It became Conrail 4372, Class FP-7A, in April 1976.  It was sold as Southeastern Pennsylvania Transportation Authority 4372 in March 1978 and sold to National Railway Historical Society Lancaster Chapter in September 1983.  It was restored as Rdg 902 beginning in 1986 and completed in 1995.

4373, FP7A, Class FP-7A, was built in June 1950, #11390, FN 6091-A4, as Reading 903, Class DP-1.  It became Conrail 4373, Class FP-7A. in April 1976.  It was sold as SEPTA 4373 in March 1978 and sold to National Railway Historical Society Philadelpia Chapter in September 1983.  It was restored as Rdg 903 in 1995.

5002, FL9, Class FL-9, was built in September 1957, #21951, FN 3193-A4, as New York New Haven & Hartford 2005, Class EDER-5.  It became Penn Central 5005, Class EP-18E, in 1969, and Conrail 5005, Class FL-9, in April 1976. It became Metro-North Commuter RR 5005 and rebuilt by Chrome Locomotive in 1985 as 503.  It was renumbered 2002 and became Connecticut Department of Transportation 2002.

5017, FL9, Class FL-9, was built in October 1957, #21963, FN 3193-A16, as NYNH&H 2017, Class EDER-5A.  It became PC 5017, Class EP-18E, in 1969, and Conrail 5017, Class FL-9, in April 1976.  It became MNC 5017 and rebuilt by Eastern Rail Car as 506.  It was renumbered 2003 and scrapped.

5018, FL9, Class FL-9, was built in October 1957, #21964, FN 3193-A17, as NYNH&H 2018, Class EDER-5A.  It became PC 5018, Class EF-18E, in 1969 and Conrail 5018, Class FL-9, in April 1976.  It became MNC and sold as Cooperstown & Charlotte Valley RR 2028 on January 16, 2003.

5019, FL9, Class FL-9, was built in October 1957, #21965, FN 3193-A18, as NYNH&H 2019, Class EDER-5A.  It became PC 5019, Class EF-18E, in 1969 and Conrail 5019, Class FL-9, in April 1976.  It became MNC 5019 and rebuilt as 508.  It was renumbered 2029 and sold as Adirondack Scenic RR as ADIX 2029.  It was scrapped in 2010.

5020, FL9, Class FL-9, was built in October 1957, #21966, FN 3193-A19, as NYNH&H 2020, Class EDER-5.  It became PC 5020, Class EP-18E, in 1969, and Conrail 5020, Class FL-9, in April 1976.  It became MNC 5020 and rebuilt as 509.  It was renumbered 2004 and rebuilt by ABB Republic in 1993 as 2044.  It was scrapped by Frontier Industrial in 2005.

5024, FL9, Class FL-9, was built in October 1957, #21970, FN 3193-A23, as NYNH&H 2024, Class EDER-5.  It became PC 5024, Class EP-18E, in 1969, and Conrail 5024, Ckass FL-9, in April 1976.  It became MNC 5024 and rebuilt by General Electric in 1980 as 2006.  It was sold to Frontier Industrial Corp and scrapped.

5025, FL9, Class FL-9, was built in October 11957, #21971, FN 3193-24, as NYNH&H 2025, Class EDER-5. It became PC 5026, Class EP-18E, in 1969, and Conrail 5025, Class FL-9, in April 1976. It later became Amtrak 241 and later renumbered 490. It was sold to Naporano Iron & Metal for scrap.

5031, FL9, Class FL-9, was built in September 1960, #21977, FN 3198-A2, as NYNH&H 2031, Class EDER-5.  It became PC 5031, Class EP-18E, in 1969, and Conrail 5031, Class FL-9, in April 1976.  It became MNC 5031 and rebuilt as 514.  It was renumbered 2007.  It was sold as ADIX 2007.

5039, FL9, Class FL-9, was built in November 1960, #21985, FN 3198-A10, as NYNH&H 2039, Class EDER-5A.  It became PC 5039, Class EP-18E, in 1966, and Conrail 5039, Class FL-9, in April 1976.  It became MNC 5039 and rebuilt as 519.  It was again rebuilt as 2012.

5040, FL9, Class FL-9, was built in November 1960, #21986, FN 3198-A11, as NYNH&H 2040, Class EDER-5A. It became PC 5040, Class EP-18E, in 1969, and Conrail 5040, Class FL-9, in April 1976. It later became MNC 5040 and was later rebuilt as 520. It was again rebuilt as 2013.

5044, , FL9, Class FL-9, was built in November 1960, #21990, FN 3198-A15, as NYNH&H 2044, Class EDER-5a. In 1969 it became PC 5044, Class EP-18e. In April. 1976, it became Conrail 5044, Class FL-9. It was sold to Connecticut Department of Transportation as 5044 on January 1, 1983. It was rebuilt by Morrison-Knudsen as 523 and renumbered 2016 on February 3, 1993.

5045, FL9, Class FL-9, was built in October 1960, #21991, FN 3198-A16, as NYNH&H 2045, Class EDER-5A.  It became PC 5045, Class EP-18E, in 1969, and Conrail 5045, Class FL-9, in April 1976.  It later became MNC 5045 and rebuilt as 2017.  It was sold as 636 Leasing LLC as SIXX 2017 and sold as Morristown & Erie RR 2017 for parts.

5046,  FL9, Class FL-9, was built in November 1960, #21992, FN 3198-A17, as NYNH&H 2046, Class EDER-5A. It became PC 5046, Class EP-18E, in 1969, and Conrail 5046, Class FL-9, in April 1976.

5048, FL9, Class FL-9, was built in November 1960, #21994, FN 3198-A19, as NYNH&H 2048, Class EDER-5A.  It became PC 5048, Class EP-18E, in 1969, and Conrail 5048, Class FL-9, in April 1976.  It became MNC 5048 and rebuilt as 2018.  It was sold as ADIX 2018 and scrapped in 2010.

5049, FL9, Class FL-9, was built in November 1960, #21995, FN 3198-A20, as NYNH&H 2049, Class EDER-5A.  In 1969 it became PC 5049, Class EP-18e.  In April 1976 it became Conrail 5049, Class FL-9.  It was sold to MNC 5049 and renumbered 527.  It was rebuilt as 2019 and became CDOT 2019.

5052, FL9, Class FL-9, was built in November 1960, #21998, FN 3198-A23, as NYNH&H 2052, Class EDER-5A.  It became PC 5052, Class EP-18E, in 1969, and Conrail 5052, Class FL-9, in April 1976.  It became MNC 528 and rebuilt as 2031.  It was sold as ADIX 2031 and scrapped in 2010.

5055, FL9, Class FL-9, was built in November 1960, #22001, FN 3198-A26, as NYNH&H 2055, Class EDER-5A.  It became PC 5055, Class EP-18E, in 1969, and Conrail 5055, Class FL-9, in April 1976.  It became MNC 2022.  It was scrapped.

5056, FL9, Class FL-9, was built in November 1960, #22002, FN 3198-A27, as NYNH&H 2056, Class EDER-5A.  It became PC 5056, Class EP-18E, in 1969 and Conrail 5056, Class FL-9, in April 1976.  It became MNC 5056 and rebuilt as 532 in 1985.  It was renumbered 2032 in 1985 and rebuilt by ABB Republic in 1993 as 2046.  It hit a boulder and bent the frame.  It was scrapped by Frontier Industrial in 2005.

5057, FL9, Class FL-9, was built in November 1960, #22003, FN 3198-A28, as NYNH&H 2057, Class EDER-5A.  It became PC 5057, Class EP-18E, in 1969, and Conrail 5057, Class FL-9, in April 1976.

5058, FL9, Class FL-9, was built in November 1960, #22004, FN 3198-A29, as NYNY&H 2058, Class EDER-5A.  It became PC 5058, Class EF-18E, in 1969, and Conrail 5058, Class FL-9, in April 1976.  It became MNC 5058 and rebuilt by Morrison Knudsen in1993 as 534.    It was renumbered 2024 and was damaged by fire in 2007.
