D2303, SD39M-2, was built by Electro-Motive in January 1967, #32490, as Chicago Milwaukee St Paul & Pacific 173, Class 30E-RS, GP40. It was renumbered 2046 in 1968 and briefly numbered 16. It was returned as 2046 and became Soo Line RR 2046 in 1985. It was sold to Helm in 2000 and rebuilt as FEPASA D2303, SD39M-2.
