Electro-Motive SD40T-2 Diesels

2864, Class SD40T-2, was built in April 1975, #74695-14, FN 74695-14, as St Louis South-Western 9384, Class EF636C-9, SD45T-2.  It was assigned UP 4923, Class SD45T-2, but sold to Locomotive Leasing Partners on August 18, 1998.  It was rebuilt as SD40-2T and leased as UP 4923, Class SD40-2T, on December 29, 1998.  It was renumbered 2864 on April 23, 2002. 

2867, Class SD40T-2, was buit in July 19974, #73629-5, FN 73629-5, as Southern Pacific 8304, Class EF630-3.  It became UP 4370, Class SD40T-2, in on July 14, 1999, and renumbered 2867, on March 16, 2001.

2887, Class SD40T-2, was built in June 1974, #73629-4, FN 73629-4, as SP 8303, Class EF630-3.  It became UP 4560, Class SD40T-2, on January 30, 1998, and renumbered 2887 on March 6, 2001.  It was retired in 2010.

2882, Class SD40T-2, was built in October 1974, #74636-2, FN 74636-2, as Denver Rio Grande & Western 5342, Class EF630D-1.  It became UP 2882, Class SD40T-2, on September 3, 2001, and retired in 2010.

2886, Class SD40T-2, was built in October 1974, #74636-15, FN 74636-15, as DRG&W 5355, Class EF630D-1.  It became UP 4043, Class SD40T-2, on October 8, 1999, and was renumbered 8613 on April 12, 2000.  It was renumbered 2886 on June 15, 2007.

2891, Class SD40T-2, was built in July 1975, #756047-7, FN 756047-7, as D&RGW 5362, Class EF630D-2. It became UP 4049, Class SD40T-2, on March 19, 1999, and was renumbered 8619 on April 16, 2000. It became 2891 on January 9, 2007.  It was sold to Western Rail Inc as WRIX 2891 in 2010 and resold to Northern Illinois & Western as NIWX 2891 in 2012.

2927, Class SD40T-2, was built in January 1979, #786174-54, FN 786174-54, as SP 8552, Class EF638-8.  It became UP 4495 on November 10, 1999, and renumbered 2927 on March 29, 2001.

2929, Class SD40T-2, was built in February 1979, #786174-60, FN 786174-65, as SP 8558, Class EF630-8.  It became UP 4500 on September 2, 1999, and renumbered 2929 on May 12, 2001.

2930, Class SD40T-2, was built in February 1979, #786174-63, FN 786174-63, as SP 8561, Class EF630-8.  It became UP 4501 on March 24, 1998, and renumbered 2930 on April 25, , 2001.  It was retired on December 5, 2008.

2933, Class SD40T-2, was built in March 1980, #786264-5, FN 786264-5, as DRG&W 5403, Class EF630D-5.  It became UP 8595 on December 2, 1999, and renumbered 2933 on January 22, 2007.

2938, Class SD40T-2, was built in May 1980, #786265-39, as SP 8268, Class EF630-11.  It became UP 2938 on December 18, 2005, and sold to Western Rail Inc as WRIX 2938 in November 2011. 

(8580), Class SD40T-2, was built in August 1978, #776098-2, FN 776098-2, as D&RGW 5387, Class EF630D-4. It was assigned UP 4071 in September 1997 and 8580 in December 1999, but was retired on May 22, 2001.

(8597), Class SD40T-2, was built in March 1980, #786264-8, FN 786264-8, as DRG&W 5405, Class EF630D-5. It was assigned UP 8597 in December 1999, but was retired on February 7, 2001.

(8618), Class SD40T-2, was built in July 1975, #756046-6, FN 756046-6, as D&RGW 5361 Class EF430D-2.  It was assigned UP 8618 but retired on November 28, 2001.  It was sold as R J Corman Group 5361.

8633, Class SD40T-2, was built in January 1977, #786040-1, FN 786040-1, as DRG&W 5374, Class EF630D-3. It became UP 4063 on April 27, 1999, and was renumbered 8633 on May 27, 2000. It was retired as General Electric Capitol Corp 8633 on January 28, 2004.

8634, Class SD40T-2, was built in January 1977, #786040-7, FN 786040-7, as DRG&W 5380, Class EF630D-3. It became UP 4064 on August 6, 1999, and was renumbered 8634 on May 9, 2000.  It was retired as GECX 8634 on January 30, 2004.

8670, Class SD40T-2, was built in April 1978, #776069-10, FN 776069-10, as SP 8316, Class EF630-6. It became UP 8670 on February 12, 2002, and retired on September 16, 2002.

(8686), Class SD40T-2, was built in April 1978, #776069-12, FN 776069-12, as SP 8318, Class EF630-6,  It was assigned UP 8686 but was retired on July 31, 2001.

8697, Class SD40T-2, was built in April 1978, #776070-13, as SP 8369, Class EF630-7.  It became UP 4427 on July 23, 1967, and renumbered 8697 on February 25, 2000.

(8705), Class SD40T-2, was built in November 1978, #786174-4, as SP 8502, Class EF630-8.  It has been assigned UP 8705 but was retired 1998.  It was sold to Omni-Trax and sold to National Railway Equipment Co.

(8706), Class SD40T-2, was built in November 1978, #786174-5, as SP 8503, Class EF630-8.  It has been assigned UP 8706 but retired on October 31, 2002.

(8712), Class SD40T-2, was built in November 1978, #786174-12, as SP 8510, Class EF630-8.  It was assigned UP 8712 but was retired.

8745 was built in June 1979, #786201-8, as SP 8384, Class EF630-9.  It became UP 8745 on June 30, 2000, and retired on January 24, 2008.

(8757) was built in January 1979, #786174-44, as SP 8542, Class EF630-8. It was assigned UP 8757 but was retired on February 27, 2001.

8767, Class SD40T-2, was built in February 1979, #786174-56, as SP 8554, Class EF630-8.  It became UP 4497 on July 28, 1997, and renumbered 8767 on May 28, 2001.

8786, Class SD40T-2, was built in March 1980, #786265-5, FN 786265-5, as SP 8285, Class EF630-11.  It became UP 8786, Class SD40T-2, on January 18, 2001, and retired on July 16, 2007.  It was rebuilt by National Railway Equipment Co as Indiana Harbor Belt 2162 in October 2012, 3GS21C.

8789, Class SD40-T2, was built in April 1980, #786265-10, FN 786265-10, as SP 8239, Class EF630-11.  It became UP  8789 on April 22, 2001.  It was retired on January 24, 2008.

8794, Class SD40-T2, was built in April 1980, #786265-16, FN 786265-16, as SP 8245, Class EF630-11.  It became UP 8794, Class SD40T-2, on June 28, 2001, and retired on January 24, 2008.

8799, Class SD40T-2, was built in April 1980, #786265-25, FN 786265-25. as SP 8254, Class EF630-11.  It became UP 8799, Class SD40-2, on July 26, 2001.  It was retired on November 14, 2007, and sold as R J Corman RR 8799 in 2008.

8854, Class SD40T-2, was built in April 1980, #786265-19, FN 786265-19, as SP 8248, Class EF630-11.  It became UP 8854, Class SD40T-2, on August 25, 2001, and retired on December 19, 2002.  It was sold to Larry's Truck Equipment Co in July 2003.

8865, Class SD40T-2, was built in July 1980, #786265-59, FN 786265-59, as SP 8288, Class EF630-11. It became UP 8865 on July 7, 2001.   It was retired on April 14, 2004, and sold as National Ry Equipment Co 8865.
