1 "Meridian" was built in January 1955, #A642, as Canadian National 6512, Class GPA-17a.  It became Via Rail Canada 6512, Class GPA-17a, and sold as KCS 1 "Meridian".

2 "Shreveport" was built in November 1954, #A634, as CN 6504, Class GPA-17a.  It became Via 6504, Class GPA-17a, and sold as KCS 2 "Shreveport".

4 "Vicksburg" was built in December 1954, #A637, as CN 6507, Class GPA-17a.  It became Via 6507, Class GPA-17a, and sold as KCS 4 "Vicksburg".
