170 thru 182 were built in 1920 as motor cars and 183 thru 197 as control trailers. 183 and 184 were motorized about 1925. 187, 192, and 195 were retired on December 31, 1955. 188 thru 190 were damaged by fire at Highwood on August 11, 1955, and were scrapped.
