Atchison Topeka & Santa Fe

825 Class 2-8-0/0-8-0s

 

These locomotives were built as four-cylinder Vauclain compounds. They were simpled between 1907 and 1910. Three were later rebuilt as eight-coupled switchers.

836 was built by Rhode Island in 1902, #3363.  It was rebuilt at San Bernardino in May 1919 and rebuilt in May 1925.  It was sold to El Paso Pipe and Supply Co for scrap on March 8, 1954.

840 was built by Rhode Island in 1902, #3367.  It was rebuilt at San Bernardino in February 1922 and sold to Luria Bros Co for scrap on September 12, 1950.

847 was built by Rhode Island in 1902, #3374.  It was rebuilt at San Bernardino in October 1919 and rebuilt at Topeka in November 1925.  It was sold for scrap to Erman-Howell on January 31, 1952.

849 was built by Rhode Island in 1902, #3376.  It was rebuilt as La Junta in February 1920 and sold for scrap to Luria Brothers on August 28, 1950.

850 was built by Alco-Pittsburgh in 1902, #25342.  It was rebuilt at La Junta in November 1919 and rebuilt in July 1922.  It was sold for scrap to M W Kaplan Co on June 26, 1951.

863 was built by Alco-Pittsburgh in 1902, $2535.  It was rebuilt at Richmond in November 1920 and rebuilt in Topeka in May 1926.  It was sold for scrap to Robinson Brothers on July 2, 1954.
