Chicago North Shore & Milwaukee

Standard Coaches 752-776
752 thru 776 were the last coaches ordered by the North Shore, and it was also the largest order. There were only a few differences between these cars built by Standard Steel Car and the Pullman order received two years earlier. They operated mixed in with all the other steel cars in regular service. Beginning in the early 1940s there was a major modernization, and then most were rebuilt to Silverliner status.
After each number, the modernization date is given followed by rebuilding as a Silverliner.
