2546 was built by Alco-Pittsburgh in January 1911, #48642, as Kansas City Mexico & Orient 212. It was reboilered in 1927 with boiler O-212 and sold as AT&SF 2546, Class 2535. in October 1928. It was donated to City of Marceline on December 20, 1955, and painted as Santa Fe & Disneyland RR 2546.
