Cars 101 thru 180

 

These cars were built by Jewett Car in 1911 and were the first PAYE cars in San Francisco.  The only car which did not make it to the Muni in 1944 was 123. 35 cars were renumbered into corresponding 400 numbers to prevent confusion with the Muni's own 100 series cars.

101 was built by Jewett Car in 1911.  It was renumbered 401 in 1944.

104 was built by Jewett Car in 1911.  It was renumbered 404 in 1944.

106 was built by Jewett Car in 1911.

107 was built by Jewett Car in 1911.

111 was built by Jewett Car in 1911.  It was renumbered 411 in 1944.

116 was built by Jewett Car in 1911. 

117 was built by Jewett Car in 1911. 

119 was built by Jewett Car in 1911. 

124 was built by Jewett Car in 1911.  It was renumbered 424 in 1944.

125 was built by Jewett Car in 1911.

135 was built by Jewett Car in 1911.  It was renumbered 435 in 1944.

138 was built by Jewett Car in 1911.

145 was built by Jewett Car in 1911.

157 was built by Jewett Car in 1911.  It was renumbered 457 in 1944.

172 was built by Jewett Car in 1911.  It was renumbered 472 in 1944.

175 was built by Jewett Car in 1911.

180 was built by Jewett Car in 1911.  It was rebuilt as a one man car in the 1930s with front entrance air doors. It was used on several one man lines until it was outlawed in 1939.
