San Francisco-Oakland Terminal Co.
Freight and Non-Revenue Equipment
1000 was built as California Ry 10 about 1895. It was probably built by Ingler and Atkinson of Oakland. About 1900 the locomotive was rebuilt by Oakland Traction for freight service. Later the hoods were rebuilt and the cab was raised. It was used in construction work on the Bay Bridge. When Key sold off the Oakland Terminal in 1943, they kept the 1000, and it was scrapped in 1947.
1001 was built by Oakland Traction Co in 1910. In 1958 it acquired by Westerm Railway Museum and relettered as SFOT 1001.
