5001, SD40, was built by Electro-Motive in April 1970, #36128, FN 7252-1, as Detroit Edison Co 001.  It was as HLCX 5001.

5002, SD40, was built by Electro-Motive in April 1970, #36125, FN 7252-2, as DECo 002.  It was sold as HLCX 5002.

5003, SD40, was built by Electro-Motive in April 1870, #36126, FN 7254-1, as DECo 005.  It was sold as HLCX 5003.

5005, SD40, was built by Electro-Motive in July 1972, #5818-1, FN 5818-1, as DECo 015.  It was sold to Helm as HLCX 5005 and sold to Motive Power Resources Inc as MVPX 5005.

5006, SD40, was built by Electro-Motive in July 1972, #5518-2, FN 5818-2, as DECo 016.  It was sold as Maine Central 603 in February 1986 and sold to Helm as HLCX 5006.

5019, SD40A, was built by Electro-Motive in January 1970, #35685, FN 5748-1, as Illinois Central Gulf 6019. It went to Helm as 5019 in 1985 and then to Soo Line RR as 6406. It later became Canadian Pacific 6406.

5021, SD40A, was built by Electro-Motive in January 1970, #35687, FN 5748-3, as ICG 6021. It went to Helm as 5021 in 1985 and then to Soo Line as 6408. It later became CPR 6408.

5027, SD40, was built by Electro-Motive in December 1970, #36912, FN 7290-17, as Penn Central 6256, Class EF-30A.  It became Consolidated Railroad Corp 6256, Class SD-40, in April 1976 and was transferred as  Conrail Leasing Co 809.  It was sold as Helm 5027 in January 1996 and rebuilt as Transportacion Ferroviaria Mexicana  1521  It was returned to Helm as HATX 1521.

5029, SD40u, was built by Electro-Motive in December 1970, #36916, FN 7290-21, as PC 6260, Class EF-30A.  It became Conrail 6260, Class SD-40, in April 1976 and transferred as Conrail Leasing 611.  It was sold as HL 5029 and leased as Dakota Minnesota & Eeastern 6064.  It was rebuilt by Alstom in 2000 as First Union Rail 3009.

5030, SD40u, was built by Electro-Motive in December 1970, #36917, FN 7290-22, as PC 6261, Class EF-30A.  It became Conrail 6261, Class SD-60, in April 1976 and transferred as Conrail Leasing 812.  It was sold as HLCX 5030 and leased as DM&E 6065.  It was rebuilt by Alstom in 2000 as FURX 3023.

5031, SD40a, was built by Electro-Motive in December 1970, #36920, FN 7290-25, as PC 6264, Class EF-30A.  It became Conrail 6264, Class SD-40, in April 1976 and transferred as Conrail Leasing 814.  It was sold as HLCX 5031 and leased as DM&E 6066.  It was rebuilt by Alstom in 2000 as FURX 3018.

5050, SD40u, was built by Electro-Motive in August 1966, #32097, FN 7912-6, as Chicago Great Western 406. In 1968 it became Chicago & North Western 926 and was sold to National Ry Equipment Co as 926 in November 1991. It was later sold to Morrison Knudsen as 9402 and then to Helm as 5050. In August 1997 it became DM&E 6060 "City of Huron". It was later rebuilt as FURX 3014.

 

5055, SD40, was built by Electro-Motive in April 1970, #36128, FN 7253-2, as Detroit Edison Co 004. It was sold to MeC as 601 in February 1986 and later to Helm as 5055. It was rebuilt later as a slug to Terminal RR Association of St Louis as 2206.

5057, SD40, was built by Electro-Motive in April 1970, #36129, FN 7254-2, as DECo 006 and was sold to MeC as 602 in February 1968. It later sold to Helm as 5057 and was rebuilt as 6071, SD40M-2.

5070, SD40, was built by Electro-Motive in March 1971, #37543, FN 7319-1, as Missouri Pacific 770.  It was renumbered 3070 in March 1971 and sold as Helm 5070.  It was then sold as General American Transportation Corp 5070 and rebuilt by Morrison Knudsen as BN 7300, Class SD-40G, in April 1989.  It was rebuilt as Locomotive Leasing Partners 4302 in July 1997 and later rebuilt as Belt Ry of Chicago 563, SD38-3.  It was resold as Alamo Gulf Coast RR 2.

5072, SD40, was built by Electro-Motive in March 1971, #37345, FN 7319-3, as MP 772.  It was renumbered 3072 in March 1971 and sold as Helm 5072.  It was then sold as GATX 5072 and rebuilt by Morrison Knudsen as BN 7301, Class SD-40G, in May 1989.  It was rebuilt as LLPX 4301 in July 1997 and later rebuilt as BRC 564, SD38-3.

5075, SD40, was built by Electro-Motive in March 1971, #37548, FN 7319-6, as MP 775.  It was renumbered 3075 in March 1971 and sold as Helm 5075.  It was then sold as GATX 5075 and rebuilt by Morrison Knudsen as BN 7303, Class SD-40G, in March 1989.  It was rebuilt as LLPX 4303 in July 1997 and later rebuilt as BRC 565, SD38-3.

5076, SD40, was built by Electro-Motive in March 1971, #37549, FN 7319-7, as MP 776.  It was renumbered 3076 in March 1971 and sold as Helm 5076.  It was then sold as GATX 5076 and rebuilt as BN 7304, Class SD-40G, in May 1989.  It was rebuilt as LLPX 4304 in July 1997 and later rebuilt as BRC 561, SD38-3.

5077, SD40, was built by Electro-Motive in March 1971, #37550, FN 7319-8, as MP 777.  It was renumbered 3077 in March 1971 and sold as Helm 5077,  It was then sold as GATX 5077 and rebuilt as BN 7305, Class SD-40G, in May 1989.  It was rebuilt as LLPX 4305 in July 1997 and later rebuilt as BRC 566, SD38-3.  It was resold as AGCR 1.

5086, SD40, was built by Electro-Motive in April 1971, #37559, FN 7319-17, as MP 786.  It was renumbered 3086 in March 1971 and sold as Helm 5086.  It was then sold as GATX 5086 and rebuilt as BN 7308, Class SD-40G, in June 1989.  It was rebuilt as LLPX 4307 in July 1997 and later rebuilt as BRC 560, SD38-3.

5088, SD40, was built by Electro-Motive in March 1971, #37561, FN 7319-19, as MP 788, SD40.  It was renumbered 3088 in March 1971 and sold as Helm 5088.  It was then sold as GATX 5088 and rebuilt as BN 7309, Class SD-40G, in April 1989.  It was rebuilt as LLPX 4308 in July 1997 and later rebuilt as BRC 562, SD38-3   It was sold to ConAgra Inc as CAGX 608 and leased as Ardent Mills.

5124, Class C30-7, was built by General Electric in June 1979, #42196, as Burlington Northern 5595, Class C30-7.  It was assigned as Burlington Northern Santa Fe 5595, Class C30-7, but retired in January 2002.  It was sold as HLCX 5124 and rebuilt as America Latina Logistica 7627.

5322, SD39, was built by Electro-Motive in April 1970, #35819, FN 7219-5, as Southern Pacific 5322, Class EF623-2.  It was sold to National Railway Equipment and sold as Helm.  It was lettered as Union Pacific Leased between February 1988 and July 1989.

5348, SD45u, was built by Electro-Motive in December 1966, #32543, FN 5722-38, as Atchison Topeka & Santa Fe 1876. Class 1800.  It was renumbered 5567, Class 5500, in 1970 and rebuilt at San Bernardino in January 1983 as 5348, Class 5304.  It was sold as Morrison Knudsen 5348 in 1994 and then to Helm as 5348 in May 1996.  It was then rebuilt as CIT Financial 3143 on February 21, 2001, as a SD40-3.

5366, SD45u, was built by Electro-Motive in October 1966, #32508, FN 5722-3, as AT&SF 1832, Class 1800.  It was renumbered 5532, Class 5500, in 1970 and rebuilt at San Bernardino in September 1983 as 5366, Class 5304.  It was sold as MK 5366 in 1994 and then to Helm as 5366 in May 1996.  It was rebuilt as CIT Financial CEFX 3145, SD40M-2, on February 21, 2001, and sold as Fort Worth & Western 2025 "Parker County" in July 2013..

5371, SD45u, was built by Electro-Motive in June 1970, #36407, FN 7267-4, as AT&SF 5618, Class 5500, and was rebuilt at San Bernardino in November 1983 as 5371, Class 5304. It was sold to Morrison Knudsen in 1994 and then to Helm in May 1996. It was rebuilt at Boise in 1997 and sold to Motive Power International in 1999. It was scrapped in March 2000.

5443, SD50F, was built by General Motors in February 1987, #A4619, FN C461-3. as Canadian National 5443, Class GF-636b.  It was retired on May 25, 2008, and sold as HLMX 5443 in May 2009.

5447, SD50F, was built by General Motors in February 1987, #A4624, FN C461-8, as CN 5447, Class GF-636b. It was retired on 4, 2007, and was sold as HLMX 5447 in 2008.

5505, C30-7, was built by General Electric in December 1976, #41405, as Burlington Northern 5505, Class C30-7.  It was sold as HLCX 5505 and re-leased as BN 5505, Class C30-7.  It was sold and rebuilt as America Latina Logistica 9306.

5506, C30-7, was built by General Electric in December 1976, #41406, as BN 5506, Class C30-7.  It was sold as HLCX 5506 and re-leased as BN 5506, Class C30-7.  It was sold and rebuilt as ALL 7664.

5945, SD60, was built by Electro-Motive in October 1986, #867147-55, FN 867147-55, as Chicago & North Western 8055.  It became  Union Pacific 5945 on October 14, 1996, and retired on January 4, 2002.  It became Helm 5945 and sold to Norfolk Southern for parts on  May 9, 2012.

5946, SD60, was built by Electro-Motive in August 1986, #867147-1, FN 867147-1 as C&NW 8001.  It became Union Pacific 5946, Class SD60, on April 11, 1997, and retired on January 4, 2002.  It became Citigroup Railmark Inc 5946 and sold as Helm 5946.  It was sold as Norfolk Southern 6510, Class SD60, in May 201 and retired on December 27, 2913.  It rebuilt as 7012, Class SD60E, in December 2015 .

5948, SD60, was built by Electro-Motive in August 1986, #867147-6, FN 867147-6, as C&NW 8006.  It became UP 5948, Class SD60, on November 25. 1996 and retired on April 4, 2002.  It became CRIX 5948 and sold as Helm 5948.  It was sold as NS 6532, Class SD60, in May 2011.
