Class L-2r 2-8-2s

602 was built at West Milwaukee in September 1912 as 8008. It was renumbered 602 in July 1938 and scrapped on September 15, 1954.

603 was built at West Milwaukee in October 1912 as 8012. It was renumbered 603 in June 1938 and retired in November 24, 1954.

605 was built at West Milwaukee in December 1912 as 8023. It was renumbered 605 in June 1938 and retired on December 10, 1951.

608 was built at West Milwaukee in February 1913 as 8031. It was renumbered 608 in June 1938 and retired on March 24, 1954. This engine was assigned to the Rockford Night Job when Stuart Kurth started firing. His engineer was Bob Smith, a full-blooded Oneida Indian and one of the nicest fellows to ever pull a throttle.

618 was built by Alco-Brooks in July 1912, #51435, as 1856. It was renumbered 8056 in September 1912 and 618 in July 1938. It was retired on October 12, 1951.

625 was built by Alco-Brooks in July 1912, #51447, as 1868. It was renumbered 8068 in October 1912 and 625 in July 1938. It was sold on December 10, 1949. The earlier photo shows it with an experimental exhaust system.

627 was built by Alco-Brooks in July 1912, #51449, as 1870. It was renumbered 8070 in September 1912 and 627 in July 1938. It was retired on September 4, 1951.

628 was built by Alco-Brooks in July 1912, #51542, as 1873. It was renumbered 8073 in 1912 and 628 in 1938. It was retired in May 1954.

631 was built by Alco-Brooks in July 1912, #51546, as 1877. It was renumbered 8077 in 1912 and 631 in 1938. It was retired in August 1951.

636 was built by Alco-Brooks in July 1912, #51468, as 1882,  It was renumbered 8089 in September 1912 and was renumbered 636 in July 1938.  It was retired on April 26, 1954.

640 was built by Alco-Brooks in October 1912, #52174, as 8102.  It was renumbered 640 in July 1938 and retired on July 23, 1954.

642 was built by Alco-Brooks in October 1912, #52178. as 8105.  It was renumbered 642 in June 1938 and retired on  December 2, 1954.

648 was built by Alco-Brooks in November 1912, #52201, as 8128.  It was renumbered 648 in June 1938 and retired on September 15, 1949. but was not scrapped until 1951.

654 was built by Alco-Brooks in November 1912, #52211, as 8138.  It was renumbered 654 in July 1938 and retired on December 23, 1954.

655 was built by Alco-Brooks in November 1912, #52212, as 8139.  It was renumbered 655 in June 1938 and retired on A[ro; 6. 1951.

657 was built by Alco-Brooks in November 1912, #52349, as 8144. It was renumbered 657 in 1938 and retired in May 1951.
