Electro-Motive SD9 Diesels

 

334 was built in March 1954, #18993, FN 5313-10.  It became Burlington Northern 6136, Class SD-9, in 1970 and totaled at Maquon, IL, on May 24, 1972.

338 was built in March 1954, #18997, FN 5313-14.  It became BN 6140, Class SD-9, in 1970 and traded in to Electro-Motive in July 1985.

341 was built in March 1954, #19000, FN 5313-17.  It became BN 6143, Class SD-9, in 1970 and rebuilt by VMV as 6290, Class TEBC6, on December 27, 1992.  It became Burlington Northern Santa Fe 6290, Class TEBC6, in October 2002 and renumbered 1812.  It was renumbered 251 in 2009.

344 was built in March 1954, #19003, FN 5313-20.  It became BN 6146, Class SD-9, in 1970 and rebuilt by VMV as 6291, Class TEBC6, in February 1993.  It became BNSF 6291, Class TEBC6, in November 2001 and renumbered 1813.  It was renumbered 252 in 2009.

349 was built in July 1955, #20559, FN 5399-5.  It became BN 6151, Class SD-9, in 1970 and retired in June 1986.  It was sold for scrap to Naporano Iron & Metal Co in July 1986.

350 was built in July 1955, #20560, FN 5399-6.  It became BN 6152, Class SD-9, in 1970 never lettered as BNSF 6152, Class SD-9.  It was sold to Ag Processing Inc as AGPX 6152 in 2007 and resold as Columbia Grain Inc 6152 in 2009.

351 was built in July 1955, #20561, FN 5399-7.  It became BN 6153, Class SD-9, in 1970 and became BNSF 6153, Class SD-9, in August 2001.  It was renumbered 1738 and retired in July 2004.

354 was built in August 1955, #20564, FN 5399-10.  It became BN 6156, Class SD-9, in 1970 and became BNSF 6156, Class SD-9.  It was sold as Port of Tillamook Bay RR 6156 in December 2002 and scrapped in April 2009.

356 was built in September 1955, #20566, FN 5399-12.  It became BN 6158, Class SD-9, in 1970 and became BNSF 6158, Class SD-9, in February 1999.  It was retired in March 2005.

357 was built in September 1955, #20567, FN 5399-13.  It became BN 6159, Class SD-9, in 1970 and rebuilt by VMV as 6292, Class TEBC6, in January 1993.  It became BNSF 6292, Class TEBC6, in and renumbered 1814.  It was renumbered 253 in 2009.

358 was built in September 1955, #20568, FN 5399-14.  It became BN 6160, Class SD-9, in 1970 and became BNSF 6160, Class SD-9.  It was retired in April 2002.

360 was built in September 1955, #20570, FN 5399-16.  It became BN 6162, Class SD-9, in 1970 and became BNSF 6162, Class SD-9, in April 2001.  It was renumbered 1739 in 2007 and retired in 2007.  It was sold to National Railway Equipment Co in 2007.

361 was built in September 1955, #20571, FN 5399-17.  It became BN 6163, Class SD-9, in 1970 and rebuilt by VMV as 6293, Class TEBC6, on January 19, 1993.  It became BNSF 6293, Class TEBC6, in February 2000 and renumbered 1815.  It was renumbered 254 on July 7, 2009.

362 was built in September 1955, #20572, FN 5399-18.  It became BN 6164, Class SD-9. in 1970 and became BNSF 6164, Class SD-9.  It was sold as POTB 6164 in 2002.

364 was built in September 1955, #20574, FN 5399-20.  It became BN 6166, Class SD-9, in 1970 and rebuilt by VMV as 6294, Class TEBC6, in January 1993.  It became BNSF 6294, Class TEBC6, and renumbered 1816.  It was renumbered 255 in 2009.

365 was built in September 1955, #20575, FN 5399-21.  It became BN 6167, Class SD-9, in 1970 and rebuilt by VMV as 6295, Class TEBC6, in February 1993.  It became BNSF 6295, Class TEBC6 and renumbered 1817.  It was renumbered 256 in 2009.

432 was built in October 1957, #23611.  It became BN 6179, Class SD-9, in 1970 and assigned as BNSF 6179, Class SD-9.  It was not relettered and sold to National Railway Equipment Co in 2004.

433 was built in October 1957, #23612.  It became BN 6180, Class SD-9, in 1970 and retired in December 1985.  It was sold for scrap to Southwest Railway Car Parts in February 1986.

436 was built in October 1957, #23615.  It became BN 6183, Class SD-9, in 1970 and retired in May 1999.

438 was built in October 1957, #23617.  It became BN 6185, Class SD-9 in 1970 and became BNSF 6185, Class SD-9 in July 2002.

445 was built in September 1957, #23624.  It became BN 6192, Class SD-9, in 1970 and scrapped to Western Rail Dismantlers in November 1996.

448 was built in September 1957, #23627.  It became BN 6195, Class SD-9, in 1970, and became BNSF 6195, Class SD-9, in March 2002.  It was renumbered 1752 in 2007.

450 was built in September 1957, #23629.  It became BN 6197, Class SD-9, in 1970, and sold as Independent Locomotive Service 1384 in 1999.

455 was built in September 1957, #23634, FN 5547-26.  It became BN 6202, Class SD-9, in 1970 and rebuilt by VMV as 6296, Class TEBC6, on March 4, 1993.  It became BNSF 6296, Class TEBC6, in October 2001 and renumbered 1818.  It was renumbered 257 in 2009.

457 was built in September 1957, #23636.  It became BN 6204, Class SD-9, in 1970 and became BNSF 6101, Class SD-9, in January 1998,  It was renumbered 1721 in 2006 and relettered as GN 1721 in 2011.  It was sold to Larry's Truck Equipment Co in September 2011.
