General Motors Upgraded GP7/9 Diesels

1506, Class DS-17 was built by General Motors in March 1952, #A324, FN C135-2, as 8411, Class DRS-15c.  It was rebuilt in 1982 as 1506, Class DS-17, as sold as J&L Consulting Co 1506.  It was sold as Nebraska Northwestern RR 1506.

1508, Class DS-17, was built by General Motors in May 1953, #A510, FN C160-11, as 8423, Class DRS-15d.  It was rebuilt in November 1982 as 1508, Class DS-17.

1512, Class DS-17, was built by General Motors in November 1954, #A708, FN C186-28, as 8510, Class DRS-17a. It was rebuilt in June 1980 as 1512, Class DS-17.

1519, Class DS-17, was built by General Motors in October 1954, #A687, CN 186-7, as 8489, Class DRS-17a. It was rebuilt in March 1981 as 1519, Class DS-17.

1521, Class DS-17, was built by General Motors in September 1956, #A964, FN C211-14, as 8624, Class DRS-17c.  It was rebuilt in April 1982 as 1521, Class DS-17.

1525, Class DS-17, was built by General Motors in September 1954, #A682, FN C186-2, as 8484, Class DRS-17b. It was rebuilt in September 1981 as 1525, Class DS-17.

1538, Class DS-17, was built by General Motors in January 1955, #A719, C187-21, as 8521, Class DRS-17a.  It was rebuilt in March 1982 as 1538, Class DS-17.

1546, Class DS-17, was built by General Motors in July 1956, #A952, FN C211-2, as 8612, Class DRS-17c.  It was rebuilt in November 1982 as 1546, Class DS-17.

1555, Class DS-17. was built by General Motors in July 1956, #A958, FN C211-8, as 8618, Class DRS-17c.  It was rebuilt in September 1983 as 1555, Class DS-17.

1570, Class DS-17, was built by General Motors in October 1956, #A969, FN C211-19, as 8629, Class DRS-17c. It was rebuilt in February 1984 as 1570, Class DS-17.

1576, Class DS-17, was built by General Motors in October 1956, #A973, FN C211-23, as 8633, Class DRS-17c. It was rebuilt in May 1984 as 1576, Class DS-17.

1580, Class DS-17, was built by General Motors October 1956, #A975, FN C211-25, as 8635, Class DRS-17c.  It was rebuilt in August 1984 as 1580, Class DS-17.

1594, Class DS-17, was built by General Motors in May 1957, #A1116, FN C225-26, as 8660, Class DRS-17d.  It was rebuilt in May 1985 as 1594, Class DS-17,

1597, Class DS-17, was built by General Motors in February 1957, #A1102, FN C225-12, as 8646, Class DRS-17d.  It was rebuilt in March 1985 as 1592, Class DS-17.

1619, Class DS-17, was built by General Motors in November 1957, #A1163, FN C225-73, as 8706, Class DRS-17d. It was rebuilt in May 1986 as 1619, Class DS-17.

1635, Class DS-17, was built by General Motors in October 1956, #A967, as 8626, Class DRS-17c.  It was rebuilt in December 1986 as 1635, Class DS-17.

1638, Class DS-17, was built by General Motors in March 1957, #A1113, as 8657, Class DRS-17d.  It was rebuilt February 1987 as 1638, Class DS-17.

1643, Class DS-17, was built by General Motors in July 1956, #A956, as 8616, Class DRS-17c.  It was rebuilt in April 1987 as 1643, Class DRS-17.

1683, Class DS-17, was built by General Motors in October 1950, #A119, as Toronto Hamilton & Buffalo 73. It was rebuilt in September 1987 as Canadian Pacific 1683, Class DS-17.

1684, Class DS-17, was built by General Motors in October 1950, #A120, as TH&B 74. It was rebuilt in September 1987 as 1684, Class DS-17.

1685, Class DS-17, was built by General Motors in June 1953, #A513, FN C163-1, as TH&B 75.  It was rebuilt as CP 1685, Class DS-17, in September 1987.

1689, Class DS-17, was built by General Motors in May 1954, #A570, FN C174-2, as TH&B 402.  It was rebuilt as CP 1689, Class DS-17, in February 1988 and sold to J&L Consulting as JLCX 1689.  It was sold as Belvidere & Delaware River Ry 1889 in August 2011.

1692, Class DS-17, was built by General Motors in August 1959, #A1724, as 8833, Class DRS-17f. It was rebuilt in February 1982 as 1692, Class DS-17.

8200, Class DRS-17, was built by General Motors in July 1956, #A955, FN C211-5, as 8615, Class DRS-17c. It was rebuilt in June 1981 as 8200, Class DRS-17.

8201, Class DRS-17, was built by General Motors in August 1956, #A959, FN C211-9, as 8619, Class DRS-17c. It was rebuilt in July 1981 as 8201, Class DRS-17.

8230, Class DRS-17, was built by General Motors in October 1957, #A1152, FN C225-61, as 8696, Class DRS-17d.  It was rebuilt in September 1989 as 8230, Class DRS-17.

8237, Class DRS-17, was built by General Motors in February 1957, #A1106, CN C225-15, as 8650, Class DRS-17d.  It was rebuilt in February 1990 as 8237, Class DRS-17.

8239, Class DRS-17, was built by General Motors in May 1957 , #A1121, as 8665, Class DRS-17d.  It was rebuilt in March 1990 as 8239, Class DRS-17.

8245, Class DRS-17, was built by General Motors in July 1959, #A1719, FN C260-4, as 8828, Class DRS-17f.  It was rebuilt as 8245, Class DRS-17, in November 1988 and transferred as St Lawrence & Hudson 8245 in October 1997.  It was retired on February 19, 2015.

8275,  Class DRS-17, was built by Electro-Motive in January 1955, #19084, as Wisconsin Central 2555.  It became Soo Line RR 2555 in January 1961 and rebuilt as CP 8275, Class DRS-17, in 1996.
