Alco Diesel Switchers

 

1500, S4, Class 1500, was built in May 1951, #78687.  It was retired on June 21, 1977 and heavily rebuilt and re-engined as Lone Star Steel 55 on March 30, 1981. 

1526, S4, Class 1500, was built by Alco in July 1952, #80059, as AT&SF 1526, Class 1500.  It was retired on April 15, 1976, and heavily rebuilt and re-engined, as LSS 56 on April 30, 1981.

2301, HH660, Class 2301, was built in July 1937, #68803. It was sold to Palo Duro Grain Co on September 19, 1963. This company was merged into Agri Industries. The locomotive is now being preserved at the railroad museum in Temple, TX.

2316, HH1000, Class 2310, was built in June 1939, #69156.  It was retired on March 30, 1971, and sold to Precision National in June 1971.
