Butte Copper Mining Co.
2001 was built by Pullman in 1905. It was sold as Chicago Great Western 99 in 1926 and sold by a member of Illinois Railway Museum in 1965.
Central Montana Rail
1809, GP9, Electro-Motive April 1954 #19365, as Great Northern 657 Class GP-9. In 1970 it became Burlington Northern 1809, Class GP-9. It was sold to CMR as 1809 in January 1985.
1838, GP, Electro-Motive April 1956 #21259, as GN 686 Class GP-9. In 1970 it became BN 1838, Class GP-9. It was sold to CMR as 1838 in January 1985.
Montana Ry.
102 was built by Baldwin in 1905. In June 1910 it became Chicago Milwaukee & Puget Sound 6004, Class M-1. In October 1912 it became Chicago Milwaukee & St Paul 2950, Class M-1. It was scrapped October 31, 1925.
Montana Western RR
10 was built by Brooks in November 1893, #2409, as Great Northern 364, Class 37. It was sold as Butte Anaconda & Pacific 31 on November 30, 1893, and renumbered 10 in 1898, It was sold as Columbia Southern Ry 10 in 1900s and sold as Oregon Railway & Navigation 10 on July 1, 1906. It became Union Pacific 4209 and sold as MW 10 before August 1929. It was retired in 1947.
Montana Western Ry.
2011, GP38-2, was built by Electro-Motive in December 1973, #71702-22, as Missouri Pacific 944. It was renumbered 2095 in September 1974. It became Union Pacific 2095 on May 18, 1989, and retired on December 31, 1993. It was returned to Helm Leasing and sold as MWRR 2011 in January 1994. It was sold as Rarus RR 1011 in 2005 and became Butte Anaconda & Pacific 1011 in 2007.
