Butte Copper Mining Co.

2001 was built by Pullman in 1905.  It was sold as Chicago Great Western 99 in 1926 and sold by a member of Illinois Railway Museum in 1965.

Central Montana Rail

1809, GP9, Electro-Motive April 1954 #19365, FN 5286-21, as Great Northern 657 Class GP-9. In 1970 it became Burlington Northern 1809, Class GP-9. It was sold to CMR as 1809 in January 1985.

1838, GP, Electro-Motive April 1956 #21259, FN 5460-6, as GN 686 Class GP-9. In 1970 it became BN 1838, Class GP-9. It was sold to CMR as 1838 in January 1985.

Corporate Leasing Inc.

220, SD40, was built by Electro-Motive in September 1966, #32099, FN 7912-8, as Chicago Great Western 408. It became It became Chicago & North Western 928 in 1968 928 in 1968. It was retired on September 25, 1987 and sold to Washington Corporation in November 1989.  It was rebuilt for Corporate Leasing Inc as 3001. It then became Montana Rail Line 3001 and was later renumbered 220. It was later transferred to  I&M Rail Link as 220 in 1997 and sold as IC&E 220 in July 2002.  It was retired in February 2007 and scrapped by Jabco Industrial in March 2007.

223, SD40, was built by Electro-Motive in August 1966, #32098, FN 7912-7, as CGW 407. It became CNW 927 in 1968. It was later sold to Corporate Leasing Inc as 3004. It then became MRL 3004 and was later renumbered 223. It was later transferred to I&M Rail Link as 223.

Montana Ry.

102 was built by Baldwin in 1905. In June 1910 it became Chicago Milwaukee & Puget Sound 6004, Class M-1. In October 1912 it became Chicago Milwaukee & St Paul 2950, Class M-1. It was scrapped October 31, 1925.

Montana Western RR

10 was built by Brooks in November 1893, #2409, as Great Northern 364, Class 37.  It was sold as Butte Anaconda & Pacific 31 on November 30, 1893, and renumbered 10 in 1898,  It was sold as Columbia Southern Ry 10 in 1900s and sold as Oregon Railway & Navigation 10 on July 1, 1906.  It became Union Pacific 4209 and sold as MW 10 before August 1929.  It was retired in 1947.

100, 80 Ton, was built by Whitcomb in April 1955, #76106.  It was sold as Cargill Inc no number in 1970 and sold to Diesel Traction Co in August 1985.

Montana Western Ry.

2011, GP38-2, was built by Electro-Motive in December 1973, #71702-22, FN 71702-22, as Missouri Pacific 944.  It was renumbered 2095 in September 1974.  It became Union Pacific 2095 on May 18, 1989, and retired on December 31, 1993.  It was returned to Helm Leasing and sold as MWRR 2011 in January 1994.  It was sold as Rarus RR 1011 in 2005 and became Butte Anaconda & Pacific 1011 in 2007.

Montana Wyoming & Southern RR

"Bear Creak" was built by McKeen Motor Car Co in January 1911, probably as order 67, as Charles City Western 51. In 1917 it was sold to the MW&S where it was named "Bear Creek" and used until 1938.
