Electro-Motive E Unit Diesels

50, EA, Class DE-2, was built in June 1937, #668, FN E127-1, as 53. It was quickly renumbered 52 and again renumbered 50 in 1940. It was sold to Alton RR as 100A on May 1, 1943. It became Gulf Mobile & Ohio 100A in June 1947. It was rebuilt by Electro-Motive in March 1953 as E8AM,  and sold for scrap to Precision National Corp in March 1975.

52, E6A, Class DP-3, was built in October 1940, #1094, FN E322-A4. It was renumbered 52A in 1950 and back to 52 in 1952. It was scrapped in 1956.

55, EA, Class DE-2, was built in June 1938, #767. It was reclassified DP-2 in 1940, renumbered 55A in 1950, and back to 55 in 1952. It was rebuilt by Electro-Motive in August 1953 as E8Am, Class DP-7. It was renumbered 1436, Class PE-4 in 1957 and reclassified Class E8Am in 1964. It was traded in to Electro-Motive in 1969.

56, EA, Class DE-2, was built in June 1938, #800. It was reclassified DP-2 in 1940, renumbered 56A in 1950, and back to 56 in 1952. It was rebuilt by Electro-Motive in June 1953 as E8Am, Class DP-7. It was renumbered 1437, Class PE-4 in 1957 and reclassified Class E8Am in 1964. It was traded in to Electro-Motive in 1969.

61, E6A, Class DP-3, was built in Julyy 1941, #1329, FN E388-A2.  It was renumbered 61 in 1950 and back to 61 in 1952.  It was rebuilt in May 1956 and renunumbered 1412 in 1957 and reclasified Class E6A in 1964.  It was sold for scrap to Naporano Iron & Metal Co on June 19, 1968.

63, E6A, Class DP-3. was built in July 1941, #1331.  It was renumbered 63A in 1950 and back to 63 in 1952.  It was renumbered 1414 in 1957 and scrapped in 1962.

64, E7A, Class DP-4, was built in February 1945, #1673.  It was renumbered 1415, Class PE-3, in 1957, and reclassified Class E7A in 1964.  It was traded in to Electro-Motive in 1966.

69, E7A, Class DP-4, was built in September 1945, #2898, as 68A. It was renumbered in 1947 as 69 and again renumbered in 1957 as 1420, Class PE-3. It was reclassified Class E7A in 1964 and sold to Naporano Iron & Metal for scrap in 1968.

71, E7A, Class DF-4, was built in September 1945, #2900, as 70A.  It was renumbered in 1947 as 71 and again renumbered in 1957 as 1422, Class PE-3.  It was reclassified Class E7A in 1964 and wrecked and traded in to Electro-Motive in 1964.

80, E7A, Class DP-4, was built in October 1945, #2909.  It was renumbered 1431, Class PE-3, in 1957 and scrapped in 1962.

81, E7A, Class DP-4, was built in October 1945, #2910, as 80A.  It was renumbered in 1947 as 81 and again renumbered in 1957 as 1432, Class PE-3. It was wrecked on May 26, 1962, and scrapped in 1962.

40, E9A, Class DP-8, was built in May 1955, #20380.  It was renumbered 1457, Class PE-6, in 1957 and reclassified Class E9A in 1964.  It was sold in 1971 as Amtrak 403 but probably never renumbered.  It was retired in October 1975 and sold for scrap to Naporano Iron & Metal in February 1976.
