These locomotives were built as four-cylinder balanced compounds and were simpled when rebuilt.
1862 was built by Baldwin in 1907, #31204. It was rebuilt at Topeka in December 1928 and sold for scrap to M. S. Kaplan Co. on March 27, 1952.
1885 was built by Baldwin in 1907, #31524. It was rebuilt at Topeka in December 1928 and sold for scrap to M. S. Kaplan Co. on February 23, 1952.
